Sure, a casual with 4-5 plays is going to get killed by this D, but there are simple adjustments on offense that’ll get people out of this defense - half shift away from the RB, block your RB and ID Mike on the user. I’ve typically just run stretch plays or quick passes to get people out of the mid blitz. After 2-3 series of it not working, they quit out or abandon mid blitz. Sometimes I get cooked and can’t do anything but that’s usually a result of a dominant user/switch stick player.
Look, if you’re looking for a sim game, I get your frustration. Unfortunately, madden (and certainly MUT) isn’t your game. It’s a video game first and foremost.
Crashing your dline down is a skill gap? That's news to me.
And the method of half slide away from the rb and id the user is very inconsistent. I literally have 5 video clips on my Twitter of doing that exact method, and still getting instant a-gapped from the mug.
I'm an ex-pro player who has made an MCS finals and many live events. I'm not some bazooka complaining about sim football who doesn't realize it's a video game.
Exploit a-gaps were eliminated with nano-detection and then improved oline play a few years back...only to resurface in this year's game. Why are issues that were solved in previous versions of Madden all of a sudden a problem again?
