Why my olbs don’t get any play time

I feel like my olbs never get on the field is it the playbook I’m not that good at this game so I don’t know why this happens

I noticed when I use nickel and dime plays a lot they don’t play but 4-3 and 3-4 plays they do

In nickel and dime sets the linebackers are replaced with the two players you have in the SUBLB1 slots. If they aren't populated there is some formula but I'm not sure what it is.

Are you using formations with your base personnel? If you use nickel,/dime/dollar,  your OLBs might not be on the field unless you have them set as a sub LB or rush lineman. Don't forget, you can manually substitute players in the formation tab in game.

If you want them on the field while running nickel, dime, dollar, or quarter, you’ll have to plug them into your SubLB1 & 2 slots or manually sub them in mid-game situationally. Otherwise they‘ll only be out there when running base formations (3-4, 4-3, 4-6, 4-4) and goal line/special teams.

I hv my sublb position filled in with toty derwin but what formation do I run that gets my olbs always on the edge?

put them as rush left and right end on specialists
