I don’t think so

From the looks of it 50/50 TTs are gone. Not sure I build a TT anymore

32 team chems still alive and well (sigh) from what I can see from the sneak peaks right out of the gate.

Yeah but a full theme team boost went from 50/50 down to 20/20.
FULL TT boosts being +1 to strength, speed, acceleration, and change of direction isn’t enough of an offset to make theme teams viable.
I’m sure I’ll end up with a Raiders team naturally but for the last few years I try to save my coins to buy the best versions of the players from my fantasy team. Keeps it fresh and fun each year. Never would’ve been excited for an 85 Saquon before but now I’m relying on that bell cow in fantasy and rooting for him.

Making the fastest defensive or offensive players in the game +1 SPD faster could be a winning formula for as long as abilities don't dominate. Having the fastest HB is huge. Having the fastest QB is huge. Having the fastest MLB is huge.
That said, the question really becomes, What do I give up to get that +1 SPD at key positions? For those of us coming into MUT 25 with three RP's with 32-team chems, we're probably not giving up much for some time to come.

I get that. But I’m not worried about making the best players a tad bit better. For me it’s more about making average/mid cards usable. When you get rid of TT boosts a lot of teams are going to look VERY similar

Seeing as 90% of the community would be playing one of about five theme teams anyway, I would argue there was already very little variation even when you could build up to +2 SPD.

EA could easily fix the variation issue by getting rid of all 32 team chems.

Where did you see 50/50 down to 20/20? I missed that.

Fair point. Being a part of that other 10% though I enjoyed playing people in that group

It’s on MUT.gg. If you click on chemistries 20/20 is as high as it gets

No, they could fix the variation issue by making attributes like PRC and AWR mean something. Since fast and quick are the things that have mattered most in MUT, competitive gamers choose the theme team that will best exploit fast and quick. In real life, savvy veterans are in on the action often because their intelligence and experience motivate them to be where they need to be on each play. They won't outrun the track athletes, but they'll outperform them. Not so in Madden, as a general rule.
