Worst Mut Ever?

I;ve been playing mut since 15 & I feel that this years offering is by far the worst in the series for the following reasons:

1. Lack of quality content. Where are flashbacks, heavyweights, veterans ,rising stars, football outsiders(which we haven't had in years),  team diamonds, Thursday ltd"s? These programs seem to have been scrapped for no logical reason.

2. Useless strategy items. So we go from  boosting  entire units to just 1 position? I find strategy items to be totally irrelevant now.

3. Not enough ability points.  Only 7 ap for both offense & defense. Might as well just scrap abilities altogether if it's gonna be this limited.

There is more that I can mention, but those are my main gripes.  Feel free to make your case as to why this is/isn;t the worst mut in the franchise.

Gameplay is marginally better but the overall MUT experience is a disorganised boring shit show.

Agree. 

But to OPs point, theyre trying to slow the game down. 
-People look at these cards as the people but theyre just clones of each other. Only thresholds and abilities matter. WR A/B/C play the exact same with thresholds if theyre 88/90/91 if they only meet 2 thresholds 
-Strats made those stats even worse to upgrade since you could make all your guys very minute changes
-Programs have been added/changed/removed for years. They still had the WW last year but they werent till the end of the year. LTDs come with every program now which is generally once a week so theyre still in game. Sometimes 2x a week. 

I have no expectations so I dont get disappointed and just go with what it is but this may be my last MUT because its very much a snooze fest, especially when I only update my team about once a month because theres no more BND sets.

EA continues to mail it in, unfortunately. When 'Next Gen' came out, we were excited.. but it's still garbage the last few years.

The only good thing about this season so far is the free players that the MCS guys have created.

EA needs to consult with the MCS players more if they aren't going to hire a crew for MUT that actually plays the game and understands football.

Dude I've seen your posts ....and I've seen your type a thousand time....talk about crying...you got nothing good to say about anyone or anything here. You're just a troll. Do you get off on sarcastic comments and trolling? No one really puts much stock in anything you write. It's sad and pathetic and pretty much the best thing anyone on here can do is just ignore you until you have something positive and constructive to say for the community.

But to get back to the thread - this is a really bad one so for me it is more about team building this year but that only goes so far sadly.

IN a make or break year this is how EA responds -really makes you shake your head in disbelief

To @kaotikords' point, the answer can only be "it depends on what you prioritize" in the MUT experience.

• Gameplay may not be at an all time peak but it's certainly improved over the past 2-3 years since Current Gen went live
• Promos are close to the worst they've been - far too little variety in form and feel on a week to week basis
• Cards/available players continues to be a weak spot.  I'd venture to guess that only 10% of available cards in circulation are game-playable at this stage.  Normally, that number is closer to 33-50% at any time during the lifecycle of the game
• Theme teams have struggled as a result - including the ability to go the Legends route; the "program theme teams" for Campus Heroes and Most Feared required a short term gutting of your roster to make happen, only to have to move on to the next program as a replacement (here comes Harvest!)
• Customer Service was ok until the Solos problem occurred recently.  That's inexcusable
