How do you mitigate bums from abusing this? I’ve tried all the different recovery formations and its still my player doing a jump ball then dropping it. I’ve tried usering the player and it hasn’t worked either. I have my top WR in there and he’s a 94-95 overall. Not sure what I’m supposed to do, if anyone knows some tips please drop some info
i generally catch the ball and then dive backwards
I havent had an issue recovering the ball in a while... You are selecting the "Hands Team" for your on-side return right??

Yes. But my player literally jumps up and either drops it or catches it gets touched and the ball is loose. So annoying

Thats happened to me once, a few months ago..... But i think it was because my backups at the time were all low OVR cards.... I have decent back-ups now for my TT, and havent had this issue... I just select the Hands Team, and just let the CPU recover the ball... Its been a long time since ive lost one... Usually the person i am playing will stop that non-sense after the first couple of times..

Yeah man. Zero chill addison CH2 Ridley LTD legend Randy. Doesn’t seem to matter. it doesn’t help that these kicks are super glitchy and hang in the air until the player is basically getting mugged
It is sort of a glitch but you have to know how to do it (I don’t lol). I played against a guy would would keep doing that shit. He was able to make the ball peak at a height which makes the WR struggle to catch the ball somehow and becomes loose as soon as he wiffs on the catch. My guess its a high kick with max speed and maybe something else I might be missing
we got to get a better word then glitch people... this Is just scummy tactics from opponents. this is not groundbreaking.....
I just pick base onside recovery (or whatever it is called) and recover the kicks about 95+% of the time. I like when my opponent comes out in this as it is almost guaranteed I'm getting 3 points.
Do you have a full squad playing?
One of my TEs tend to be there and makes the grab on those onside kick glitchers. The best is when a seam opens up and return it to the house.

Continued onside kicking is for cowards and bums.
The easiest way to counter it is to not let them score
The second easiest way is to practice recovering them
usually I don’t press anything and I always recover the ball. Then score a touchdown right away on these losers.

Well in this instance I was playing a dude literally cheating with a speed option. His QB was hurdling as he pitches the ball and it completely broke my pursuit AI. Cant shut out everyone… increasingly hard when you can’t get the ball back with a hands team
