Would y’all consider onsides kicking every kick a glitch?

I played a guy who did that every play too the other day. i was wondering why he always hurdled when pitching, so thats why? Its a cheap glitch tactic?

Why do people bother playing if theyre gonna do stuff like that? It cant be fun.

Has to be,  YouTube has completely ruined competitive madden. Makes me sick

Have t noticed it being an issue. Don't think I've ever not recovered their inside attempt. Do you have really turdy backups?

94 Addison is the one dropping the ball. Atleast in the most recent instance.. it hasn’t really mattered. not exactly meta players but still usable

Base recover,  control the middle front receiver.  Head straight for the defense when they kick so you can delay them getting to the cpu by getting in the way.  Alsobe ready to hit catch like you're going for an int in case the angle favors the player you're rushing but most of the time they're angling the kick behind you.

You are in current gen or next gen? Current gen have some of a bug, excluding the fg block bug,onside kick bug etc...

No. Current gen has more bugs and less updates then next gen. Stay in PS5.

Wow that sucks, I’ve run into a few people who do inside but once they fail the first time the usually stop so trying 3 times is crazy

First of all, Onside Kicking is a "strategy" employed while conceding that defense is largely a waste of effort in the current iteration of Madden. If you struggle against it, go to Practice Mode. You also shouldn't hesitate to employ the same tactic in return, which again requires practice.

Trying to counter the tactic is a lot like trying to counter RPO Alert plays. You're making a coin-flip decision on which receiving team player to control for the best chance to be the first to interact with the ball. Many kicks don't travel 10 yards before being touched, and the kicking team's user isn't going to be able to stop his players from trying to recover the ball illegally. In many cases, I try not to recover, with the result being that I'm awarded possession on the penalty for Illegal Touching.

It's lame, but it's the current state of Madden right now. There is definitely worse cheese much more difficult to defend against. Onside kicking has affected the outcome of only one or two games for me this year. I wish the numbers were similar for other non-football tactics commonly employed.
