Wow Tillman just got abused

I knew I shoulda sold when I pulled it... his attributes look great but he's a zone archetype with low play rec.

I just saw him get abused by Davante and by 89 OVR Moss. I literally had to replace him with Revis . He must have given up 150 yards . Plain man coverage.  And he didn't even challenge for the ball, he was steps away. 

Maybe it's me...... but I'll give this card another few games and if he's still a liability he's gone. I really have no idea why he's played so poorly

I mean I played simple cover 2 man and cover 1 hole on a lot of plays and he really got beaten badly. Maybe I am mis-using him or something???

Cover 3 seam and zone blitz are my go to’s rn.  I run a zone setup but have always run man coverage.  Idea is to pressure Qb constantly to force bad pass/interception or sack/fumble.  Ballhawk X factors on CBs with almost all ap spent on blitzer.s.  With this scheme Tillman is a beast at CB1 or 2.  Man Coverage DB in slot like Ramsey or Gilmore….better agility/play rec/cod most of time.

Tillman is built for zone obviously so he may not “come to life” in man to man scheme.  I’ve seen it already with others.  Only been running zone a couple weeks but it’s fun for a change.  Hope this helps but I also get not wanting to change play style just to accomodate using a specific player.

I also think Tillmans low play recognition doesn’t matter so much in zone coverage but in man to man it could be a problem.

When I went zone he played much better so yeah I could do that.  I like playing zone because I'm used to it for the last few years in Madden but In don't want to change my scheme for 1 card 

Woodson is a zone CB and he's a beast in a man scheme.

I may try zone , I already have Floyd with DON and edge threat and Strahan with edge threat on the other side so I'm using a decent amount of AP on pass rush.... One thing I did with my AP that started producing great results is I put acrobat on Ed Reed for 2 AP and he's been making these insane swats and picks. I have Aeneas in the slot.who is a slot archetype .

Will try zone if I get a chance to play later
