I usually drop a little at the beginning of the year just to get the ball rolling. But to me the game wouldn't feel very rewarding if I just acquired every player that came out with my wallet. To each their own though, I don't think either side should try to make the other side feel bad about the way they choose to enjoy the game. I also don't think either side should feel the need to justify themselves either. A lot of the NMS crowd fail to realize that if the whales weren't out there ripping packs left and right then the market would look a lot different, and it wouldn't be pretty for them, or for any of us for that matter.

Oh I completely agree with pretty much all of that... I'm NMS if it matters, and I couldn't care less what people do or don't do, although I have stated a few times that EA being inept is enabled by the money printer aspect. Though at the same time I have also stated that I'm not sure the difference would be as great as people think if the circumstances were different. But yeah I'm with you on the game being more rewarding by earning cards the way I do, even if it is a little frustrating at times having issues like being too lazy to sub and my DL/OLBs get shuffled around with every formation change etc.

I even had him in fantasy in 2012, the first year I played, and had fond memories of that. Ok so there are a few players I generally don't like to use in Madden on principle.  One is Vick because of what he did with the dogs 

AP is another one because of the way he treated his kid with the "switch".....I grew up in the low income housing projects in Brooklyn which was not exactly a stroll through the park......and I never did that to my son.... again, it's just my opinion folks. 

But I do try out the cards to review them and discuss with other Madden players.  Honestly and objectively the AP card wasn't that good for me so I sold him.  Lynch,Bo,Sweetness, A Train, Henry, all were better for me

played against him 3-4 times yesterday, no problems defending him. Henry is tougher in nickel because he always be falling forward for 5 yards. I’m sure AP is great in the open field but you gotta get there first, if not he’s nothing special.

You should get it if you spend 100 dollars
