I don't know because I bought the more expensive version so I had duel entitlement. If you don't have duel entitlement, I don't know if you keep it or not.

If you are switching from old gen to current gen on the same type of console then you can keep your team by signing in with the same EA account. If you are switching types of consoles (Playstation to Xbox, for example) you will have to start over.
However, when I switched from Madden 22 on Playstation 4 to Xbox Series S the XP from the Season levels transferred between consoles, as did the season rewards.

Are you on Xbox now? Your team is stored on your Xbox Live account so as long as you're staying on Xbox, you will still have your same team.
If you're on PS now, I don't know if that works or not. One thing that I really like about MLB The Show is that my team syncs across PS and Xbox.

Other way around. Download the xbox one version on to your xbox series x/s
