Xbox X vs PS5?

I have xbox one and leaning towards series X. For those who‘ve played m23 on PS5 and Xbox, what‘s your experience  and what do you prefer? I know about gamepass and all that. But from what I understand most high-level players use Xbox, correct? If so, why? The ps5 fancy controller seems cool in theory, but sounds distracting. Like I said, I’m leaning towards series X, but for Madden gameplay, would there be any reason to switch? Also, not interested in PC. I do play relatively well and have a good  team (H2H usually mvp sometimes legend). Also - I care most about actual gameplay; graphics/visuals like how someones hair moves I care much less about and it’s already good enough for me. Thanks!

Main reason why?

I like the ps5 more as a system because the hard drive is faster and the dual sense is a nicer controller imo. 

I'm playing on Xbox because of ms rewards. If I feel like spending some $ I can cash in some points rather than use real $

Do you feel it’s the controller works better for you or the actual system responds better

Controller doesn't so much work better, it just feels better and more durable. 

As far as systems go, that faster ssd just makes games boot faster...neither of these help with poor server speeds from ea tho
