Just because im bored, I logged back in to MUT after a couple weeks. Had 10 million in coins, figured I’d blow them. Opened 10 mil worth of Pro Fantasy (nothing else in the store to spend coins on) and pulled nothing above a 96. That’s the last straw for me. I spent tons of money this year, had some decent luck, but the fact that this game will be dead in 4 days, and packs are still so tight, yeah I’m done spending money. High cards should just be popping out of packs like crazy at this point. Shame on you EA. I’ve been a faithful MUT $$ since MUT10.. not another dollar from me.
I’m surprised how quickly my coins went at the end. Between the millions of coins I spent for two Rookie Premieres and the millions of coins I spent on late-release LTD’s, I couldn’t manage to get quite a few cards I would have wanted to try out.

I’d give you every card I have, “best team you can buy”, but lame ass EA, I would catch a ban. They really are pathetic.

Thanks for the offer. Didn’t need it, but I’m sure there are players that do, since Rookie Premiere‘s set costs were an absolute shock this year.
Agreed. Dropped about $50 on CUT and decided there is no way I’m falling into that trap again. I’m out on CUT totally and will be out quickly on MUT if it follows suit.

I was ready to throw in the towel numerous times this year and just never could successfully walk away for more than a ~week at a time... after which i always felt liek I was racing to play catch-up. EA knows exactly what they are doing, as far as ensuring the engagement levels remain high.
That being said, what they've lacked in quality this year, they've more than made up for in sheer quantity. Hell, a new field pass in literally August for MUT24? I want to applaud the small victories in the rare instances in which they exist. For anyone still playing MUT24, that's a huge win, the new Evergreen Field Pass. I'm finally checked out, haven't even logged in for the past three days, what little energy still exists in these old bones is reserved for the M25 hype machine. Took a couple days off next week (TUES & WED) so i can try to get a head start on my budding MUT25 squad. To be determined if I'll spend any actual money. I kind of enjoy the mindless early grind when basically every single card we acquire is an upgrade, although I regard many (if not most) aspects of the game to be essentially unplayable until we're "blessed" with some basic abilities. As much as i hate that shit, the game essentially requires certain abilities to function. Nobody being able to catch the ball (on offense or defense) early in the year is understandable, but struggling to even throw a pass without any type of velocity ability is absolutely maddening. No pun intended.
I despise the changes to hot routes this year, no more Wheel route for HBs or Zig routes for anyone, as far as I can tell. Curious if EA will be able to pull off anything about the new and (hopefully) improved ranked play. Wish me luck, but hoping to at least start the year NMS, but I have lost the stomach for wasting tons of time working MUT menus in order to profit on the auction house and fund our squads. I should probably open some type of betting pool on how long before EA's bots auto-ban me (yet again) for trying to profit within the min/max prices that THEY set.
You're spot on correct here, this game is not good and I do not envision it ever becoming a fun, fair, balanced let alone truly competitive game as long as EA retains their exclusive licensing rights with the NFL. Pack odds were clearly the worst they've probably EVER been and that is truly saying something, because EA's sheer greed knows no bounds.
The game (specifically MUT) isn't for you and i, it's clearly designed for the small (~1%) of whales and streamers that will often drop hundreds of dollars per week/month, etc.
@peatrick: The Apprentice abilities will be around soon enough if you must have Zig.
I do wish that EA's answer to fixing their defensive coverage logic involved covering all possible routes, instead of making ordinary NFL routes some sort of special uncoverable ability.
I haven't pulled a card above a 94 in so long it's insane. Probably the last 1-2 months things were nothing but 88-94 no matter what pack I was opening. It's was too obvious EA cut out the good ones.

Same, I just play regs now and so much happier
Yeah right. You and everyone else here will bend over or kneel down to EA the second they want you to.
Stop lying

I would pay a lot more money on packs if the packs were fun. Last couple years has been pushing me away and making it hard to spend money because the packs never result in entertainment
