Yesterday was interesting...

Hi all! back since MUT20 this year and finally figured out Muthead wasnt active anymore.. 

Anyway, i've been playing casually solo seasons etc this year and its become really boring actually grinding it since Solo Battles is closed every other day for me..

I only laughed when i saw what happened yesterday since its not affecting me so much. I only had tradeable teambuilders in my team and they all went up in value.. 

I honestly want to hear more from the hardcore players, like you grind it out to get highest possible rank/rewards in ranked and gauntlet etc.. did you guys lose a lot of value of your cards yesterday, will you contine to play and pay for packs?   

Just in general curious and want a civil and open chat about our hobby.

Most of us were prepped so I didn't really lose anything. Lost on some gained on some. Wasn't particularly active yesterday as having a week off but I jumped on to sell the no brainers. Probably came out about 150k up from the big crash. Most of my losses were taken Monday whereas I made a lot yesterday. Managed to keep my spare 2.5-3 million whilst not really losing anything from my team. Not bad considering the absolute tanking things took

Seems tedious though, that we have to rely on leaks to not lose millions lol.. I just really feel bad for everyone that lost a lot of value yesterday. 

Decision making at EA feels like disney headquarters at this point lol

Why would you feel bad? People make their own choices and if they want to waste money on this game, that's on them.

Sorry i meant the people holding cards, not buying packs.  :)

TBF the big problem was leaks have been dry dry dry until last second recently. In the last week EA have announced cards before leaks have. It's meant that you've had to hedge your bets and created a lot of uncertainty leading to crashes. If we'd had leaks I think it would have been much more stable tbh

I do not think value was lost. I think a lot of 80-90 cards became more valuable since they are needed for the Team Builder sets. 

It was eye opening to see how 95 OVR Team Diamonds were revealed and the set requirements were revealed, then EA pulled the old switch-a-roo and made the Team Diamonds 92 OVR and maintained the same set requirements. I am sure there are a number of upset members of this community. The 92 OVR Team Diamonds are simply not worth the price to put the set together.

yeah i only had team builders in my team and i made like 300k on 3-4 cards lol. I actually thought we would get solos or something to get a 92 bnd card at least, something to make worth our grind. I barely looked at the sets and felt like it was a disconnect from the community.. atleast me as casual.

Yesterday was on par for how EA operates in recent years. They cause chaos, and pretend there was nothing they could do to make things better. The easy answer to me is use their record profits to hire more employee’s and pay them their true value. It was about 5 years ago, we heard of mass layoffs there, and that was right about the time the game went downhill.
