In real life you can tell your players to not  rush the QB  and stick with your assignment when they break the pocket rolling out. In Madden it doesn't matter what you do they'll still  run after the QB breaking the pocket leaving wide open people.

You're doing things to the AI that they can't cover due to piss poor programming.

I really  wish people would stop using "NFL Teams" as justification to cheat the CPU and if people would put all that effort they use to defend their trash play and put it  into learning how not to play like trash the game and community would be better for it.

i can shut down, and get my cheese shut down all the time. Anyone who cries instead of engages in the chess match is just bitch made.

All videos games have exploits. Accept the game is trash and move on.

I’ve never watched a video in my life lol I actually have been playing madden for 20+ years but when MUT became the popular game mode I stopped and picked it back up this year. I always refuse to learn the “meta” when I play vids, no matter the game. I’m smart enough to be pretty good but never reach that level because I’d rather do it my way than an adopted way. Every aspect of the game can be exploited if you understand the mechanics of it all. You can exploit run schemes and rpos and corners and drags, like what’s left? People aren’t allowed to do those things when they play the game? There’s also a defense that shuts down all of those things. That’s where the chess match that makes football and football simulation games cool, it’s just countering each others moves until the smarter person prevails. Most people walk through life never being able to learn how to play chess, best they can do is checkers. Also, the only fun aspects of video games are the social part and success, why the fuck else would you play if not to win, no one’s handing out rewards for the most balanced playcalling.

At the end of the day you’re just admitting to exploiting the Ai and not playing straight up like a majority online. It’s a shame the game is in that state but it doesn’t mean I should be impressed.

Its funny you should mention that. Because during belichicks prime with us that basically happened TO belichick. I forget who the dolphins coach was at the time? Maybe Saban? But they dusted off a new variation of the wildcat against us and ran all over us all game. It was unbelievable. Then rex ryan and a couple other coaches to less success but still with SOME success did something similar a couple other times after that. Anyway he figured it out and adjusted and that was that. Just like how the whole NFL did after the RPO/read option year that made kaep, rg3 etc look like MVPs.

Problem is like others have said, in Madden learning and adjusting just doesnt always work the same due to the AWFUL programming. But at the end of the day it is what it is. A video game. And a lazily made one at that. We all knew that when we signed up so I dont see much point in these arguments whenever I see them.
