sebastianr20 said:i agree EA is scummy for limiting the best ability discounts to the LTDs you can basically buy, i don’t think the existence of KOs themselves is the issue, just an advancement of the game. My personal strategy for attacking KOs is empty formations with short air yards RAC catches . time it well and Defenders will whiff often. It’s not flashy but once they get out of cover 3/4 then you go for chunk plays
I don't think the best Ability stacks are always on LTDs, but it's part of the scam EA's been pulling for years.
KOs are an issue because they're always going to be worthless or overpowered, there's no way to actually balance them. KOs give defenders stupid Spider-Man powers, they literally see with the back of their head and react instantaneously. And on top of all of that, they're free bail-outs for either bad defense or the other guy making a good read. KOs even allow you to be almost entirely unworried about being beat deep, because if your corner gets to breathe on them, it's a "drop."
Again, I realize too many of y'all never played a Madden that wasn't just a reskin of Pokémon, but this wasn't an issue back in the day, it was balanced across the board. Many issues with the game only started when Abilities became available on every player. If we booted-up something like Madden 25, y'all would be completely lost.
