My opponents literally throw blatant uncontested picks but the AI just swats it every time. Even when I click on and press triangle it still swats. I play with play ball on. Is there anything to stop this or is the game just bad lol.

I cant recall off the top of my head but I would check your settings.
I think it has to deal somewhat with the player but then settings. I think theres one you can choose where you swat or pick. I think more often times, if youre playing conservative it goes for the swat so you dont give up plays and its safer to do.
