How important are o linemen?

Is it worth it to get 95+ overall linemen or can you tell the difference between a 95 and a 92? I’m trying to fix my o line but not sure if I need to spend a lot on 1 linemen. Thanks

It's really just for boosting your OVR. I don't think they matter nearly as much as you would think. A few years ago back when Salary Cap was a thing, I just filled my line with the heaviest players in the game that were minimum cap players (~70 OVR). I didn't notice much of a difference between them and top end linemen without abilities.

I try not to go crazy breaking my bank on super high overall players on the line even at end game. If I can stack a few players in the mid-90 overall realm like a 96 Ryan Ramczyk, or a 94 Brandon Scherff, I feel my line will be solid til end game. I don't like to add “fluff” (no pun intended) to my line of 99 O-linemen who actually suck in real life if they put those cards out.
