Running a pats theme team. My scheme is 3-4 with Judon and Mcginest as my starting OLB/Edge rushers. I have Edge threat/strip specialist on both. They both play lights out getting crazy amount of sacks and occasionally strip sacks. In my scheme, I don’t ever contain since it negates Edge threat. If a guy is rolling out a bunch I’ll nickel blitz the side he’s rolling to keep him contained. It works pretty well on old gen.
Now onto my question.
This new Chandler jones will fit right into his PU (who’s currently at backup LOLB) on my TT, putting him at a 95 OVR. I can’t decide who to move to the bench. Mcginest seems like the obvious choice but I looked at his card stats and he has tallied the same stats (Sacks, FF, TFLS…) as my Judon in same amount of games played. I think his 93 speed plays a huge part in getting to the QB. The pros and cons of each player mainly come down to traits.
Judon: Uses bull rush and swim move, has highest PMV but weak FMV.
Jones: Uses bull rush and swim move, has a high rating in BOTH PMV and FMV
Willie: Only uses bull rush, but has low PMV/high FMV. His 93 speed is his saving grace.
