what position should i use Trent Williams FB or TE vanguard

i got him yesterday his card looks nice vanguard as an ability is busted

It depends. I would say that if you are a player who incoperates a lot of two TE sets, I-form, Stong close sets that include either multiple TE's or a FB in 50 % or more of your offense, then I would suggest putting Trent at FB and acquiring another Vanguard TE.

However if you run mainly 3 wr/1 TE sets, then put him at TE.

Both. I have him at TE in double sets along with Andrews. Then when I run I form with only 1 TE I sub him at FB. Hard to stop the run. Also, I run shotgun split and when I’m passing out if that I hold him into block at the other RB position when I’m facing heavy blitzers.
