I think it would be better if, when showing forum posts, the newest ones are at the top. It’s hard for me to scroll through every page of a thread to find a reply to my comment when it’s squashed somewhere in the middle. I do think the notification system would help with this a little, but these could make a game changing switch on the site.

When you click "forums", there's a tab up top that says "view unread topics".
