People don't get banned for using the App. They get banned because they are tripping certain thresholds, which may or may not be accurate.

Oh.. I’ve just seen people say that they see people getting banned on it and they claim they didn’t do anything wrong. Thanks for clearing that up

It's not just for using the app normally. It's more because they're buying low, selling high, etc. And you can do that at a higher volume on the app than in game. Typically it's something more like that.
