Saving Progress On A Thread Without Posting

Sometimes when I update or create a thread one of two things happen: 

1. Internet decides to screw up (obv not a MUT.GG problem)
2.  After pressing "Submit", I am returned to the "Edit Post" or "Create Topic" screen with all my progress from my latest edit/created topic disappears

Is there the team can implement a way to save progress on a thread without posting it? Would be very helpful (like if we're busy and can't add everything at once, but would like to save what we have already done).

For number 2, you can usually hit the back button and it will take you back to the cached page with your post.

For long posts, I write them in Word, save often, and the just copy and paste.  Works great.

It’s probably just the universe doing all it can to make you stop posting so many threads
