Do you guys play football or just watch and play madden? I have been kicking field goals for a few years and have just started training on my high school team.
i dont play but i think i could. only problem is im stupid thin. im tall (5' 9") but im only 114 lbs. i think i could be a wr but wut i rlly want to be is either a special teamer strictly or a punter/kicker cuz i have a decent leg

I'm 5'10 and about 135 pounds. If you want to be a kicker or punter you gotta perfect your craft, doing the same repeatable motion every time you punt or kick a ball. Also if you didn't know I'm assuming your in hs or ms but you can use a 2 inch kicking block which will drastically improve your distance kicking field goals. My biggest motivation is just proving people wrong. I'm rlly skinny and havent played tackle football before so people assume I can't play. I'm also going to be working on WR off the field because I have decent hands and most WR's on our team are a lot shorter than me so they could use a bigger one. If your contemplating going out or not because you've never played tackle before I would just go out. you never know because you could be really good or maybe you arent good but at least you gave it a shot. You dont even need a rocket leg though if you play kicker you just need the same repeatable motion with the same steps every kick.

yea im a sophomore. im not saying im ever gonna go out, im just sayin itd be fun. but i dont even have time for it in the fall cuz i run cross country. also just thought of this, i could maybe be a return specialist cuz im pretty fast
I'm about 5'10, 140 lbs. Almost a senior, but I've been homeschooled my whole life so never really had a chance to play football.
Always thought there still might be a chance for me as a special teamer, but I've always thought I'd made a good WR or RB. Course, I'm a little skinny in the waist for an RB but I've got good muscle mass, especially in my legs from years of martial arts.
I'm not particularly good at placekicker though, so maybe punting? Idk, probably not gonna be a career anyway. You have to start so early in order to make it to college and the NFL, and it just wasn't something my parents signed me up for. It's not a problem though, my academics will certainly get me a job I like.

yeah. like my lil bro is only 12 an he could potentially have a future in fb. but he has crohns disease an tons of digestive issues so he had to sit out a season. his career highlight is prolly a 360+ yard 4 td rushing game

As long as you like being clocked, you should go be a return specialist lol

You should go out on a football field on the weekend or a day you have time to and just punt and kick to see what kind of range you have I am lucky enough for my dad you get me a net on the edge of my yard so I can know if i make my kicks or not but I still like to go to the football field to assess myself.

idk wut my actual 40 time is. last time i took one was at home we was havin a sibling comp on who ran the fastest. i ran a 5.3 in skinny jeans and mud lmao. idk what my 40 time is under the right circumstances though

I live in a hilly area so 40 time is hard to get here too so I've been attempting so convert mph into 40 time. I think my top speed is somewhere in between 17-18 mph so it could be anywhere from a 4.8 to a 4.54

yeah i literally live on a slant, no flat ground rlly anywhere let alone 40 yards of it. i think i might be up there wit u at 16, 17-18. if i had to guess id say i run a 4.6 or better. might be overestimating myself though
I played RB in High School and I was pretty good but a MCL tear ended it all
Now I love to watch it and play madden
