Imagine as a young player who has worked hard to get to the point where they hope and expect to hear their name called from a podium in Las Vegas at some point over the following three nights.
How must they be feeling right now to hear the so called experts saying that for the most part they're nothing special? (I wanted to use a stronger expression, but I respect this as being a family site.)
Give the prospective rookies a chance. All this mud being thrown upon them before they've even done so much as attend their first rookie camp is just ridiculous in my opinion.
How cool it would be if, some two decades or so down the line, players from this class made it all the way to Canton, and if those trashing their chances of success right now were forced to admit that they were wrong. If they're still around at that point.
Best of luck to the class of 2022. Ignore the haters, and do your thing.
