For me, something like this just beggars belief. Why would you need to mandate your wants-to-be-elite QB1 - one who you just paid a lot of money to - to do his job? On and OFF the field?
Man needs to grow up, and fast. And study for more than four hours a week.
The fact that the Cardinals found the clause necessary speaks to his work ethic... or lack thereof. The best players aren't always just the athletic specimens, they have to put in extra work too... and not be forced to study film by a contract.
Way too many of these No. 1 picks make a living off of their hype and not their play.
