After that washington game i 100% agree the NFL fixes games or the refs bc how tf u call an absolutely horrible illegal formation play after u literally say hes lined up great then flag him. Then Also that no call on the last play when dude literally grabbed Curtis's arm then hugged him but somehow that's not a flag clearly way before the ball ever came.Don't forget the phantom holding call on Washington then a no call helmet to helmet. This ain't even the 1st time the refs screwed over washington either it's just the 1st time it's worked and the other team won.
Yea I think the NFL needs to do something about this stuff. Bring back the PI challenges and the ability to challenge and review for holds and flags. It’s getting out of hand with the amount of missed or wrong calls.

then they would challenge every flagged play. i dont think thatd be something coaches r gonna use much bc they lose timeouts for lost challenges

If they aren't gonna use it much does not hurt to have... games cannot just be fully trusted with refs and its becoming more and more evident

You mean that last play when Kayvon Thibodeaux had some ingers in his eyes from a Washington blocker that also wasn't called? Or the penalty in their last game when Feliciano was hit with a penalty for felxing at his teammate Richie James (not taunting and we say this dozens of times a week and it is never called - even some Washington writers called the penalty soft as he was flexing to his teammate clearly and that is not illegal) Or when Washington slapped the ball out of the Giants WR hand which is a clear delay of game penalty and was not called. If the refs got those right, the Gano FG would have been good and the Giants win instead of tie. So yeah, I agree. The refs have to be better.
And dude, last play of a game where the refs were letting these guys play BIG TIME on passes (there were probably 7 or 8 PI calls that could have been made that game on both sides)...there's no way the refs are gonna call PI.
Bottom line....the refs either get too overzealous and control the game with too many tick tack calls OR they don't call anything at all. Personally I prefer letting them play but I am old school. Who gives a crap if a dude flexes or talks trash after a TD. I never played like that but I didn't care. These guys are hard-hitting beasts.....this is not sensitivity training. IMO, the Giants should have won that 1st game and the refs controlled that outcome. Then they swallowed their whistles in an attempt to not influence the outcome. Would rather have it that way, even if Washington had won. Same play as the non-PI call.....watch Thibodeux catch hands to the face and fingers to the eye

You can say what you want about those penalties but the most ridiculous thing the refs call are the roughing the passer calls.

how about another missed PI on the giants Also on Samuel then a missed helmet to helmet ALSO ON Samuel lmfao then earlier than the phantom mini hold that lead to the heinickie fumble lmfao then the awful terry illegal formation call refs were on giant's side the entire time quit the bs. ldk what u giants fans have against samuel but u should've gotten a helmet to helmet then 2 pi's on the giants hitting Samuel

Yeah, no one is crying about that Samuel Helm to helm stuff at all. They were letting the guys play. There were plenty of hits on both sides that could have been flagged... . and those "mini-holds" make all the difference in the game. I don't like the holding rules - I think they should let the guys play - but when you get your hands on a guy and spin him even a little bit it can change a 5 yard loss into a 30 yard gain. As for the McLaurin call - it's not the refs job to line McLaurin up...it's Terry's job to know where he is and what the rule is. he CLEARLY lined up a yard behind scrimmage and he's not a rook, he needs to know that. How on earth is that an awful call when it is a clear rule that everyone knows? He HAS to settle on the line of scrimmage , he basically has to be equal to the Center. He wasn't. Everyone knows this. It is fundamentals of formations 101. Even so, the ref had the flag out as soon as Terry lined up, I highly doubt he told McLaurin that he was fine. There's no evidence of a nod or any confirmation from the ref - not that the ref needs to help line him up. On that last play of the game Samuel stopped to reach for the ball; there's no way you can expect a defender to put the brakes on and go backwards. Holmes may have committed PI on that play but it is very hard to stop when the receiver has to stop and come back a bit for the ball.....that's always been one that the refs hesitate to call. But Washington was still down 8, and at best it should have been offsetting penalties if they did call PI they should have called hands to the face on Washington's O-line for poking Kayvon in the eye. At the end of the day Washington was still down a TD and 2 point conversion. Not the refs fault that Washington didn't play well enough to have the lead

Ok so ur clearly a giants fan. 1. ironic u talk about crying when all i see giants fan cry about is Kayvon getting poked in the eye lmfao getting hit in the head in a missed helmet to helmet and getting a concussion from it is way worse than a simple poke in the eye. 2. no there weren't no "7 to 8 missed calls on both sides" lmfao giants got every single call going their way. And no that "mini hold" wasn't shit especially if he was right on person running when the play stopped. IT LITERALLY IS HIS JOB TO HELP A PERSON LINE UP RIGHT. What all those refs that help wrs line up should be fired since they're not doing their job? Literally a small percent of u biased giants fans say that wasn't a PI at the end.Quit trying to make excuses to why that wasn't PI when it clearly is and then even before that he held his arm what u gonna say about that? "oh he just wanted to hold his hand that's not holding"? And us being down didn't matter u guys couldn't stop the run the whole game we got in easily before that bs illegal formation call most likely would've happened again or a QB sneak with hein. Now back to the Samuel Pi that's a pi THEY ALWAYS CALL NO MATTER if Samuel stopped or not they always call that i can tell you plenty of times where they've called that.
