Based on the current rules, the hit on Burrow was absolutely a personal foul. Even the NFL officiating committee said so after the game. Not sure what "holding" you are talking about.....but another example - there was the terrible spot on the Valdez-Scandling play where the officials completely went against the rule. The rule says that if the player pulls the ball back of his own volition (which MVS did) , the spot of the ball is NOT where he reached out...therefore, no first down. Yet the refs completely didn't know the rule and botched the call. There are so many examples of bad calls in that game.....even impartial parties are calling for the refs to be replaced.
tbh fell asleep (wish i didn't) but i did like the 2nd quarter but the clips ive seen on the joe burrow "late hit" wasn't even a hit dude barely got bumped and then acted like he got hit full force then fell then cried about not a call bc even the ref knew that was a flop i haven't seen the MVS one so i got no clue about that one.and that pat mahomes one why would u even chase him when he was clearly gonna go out of bounds he has a high ankle sprain i doubt hes gonna fake going out of bounds especially when they are down late in the 4th but yeah pat did flop there i'm not gonna disagree with that
