Welp, Poles Fcked up again. You probably know by this point that I am a Bears fan. (Desperate times I know…) And once again, Ryan Poles has me AGITATED. Roquan Smith, a 2 time All-pro in his so far illustrious 4 year career with the Chicago Bears, has just been traded to the Baltimore Ravens. And guess what. No first round pick. He has been carrying this Bears defense and is the main reason they have 3 wins thus far. I get it, the Bears are beginning a complete rebuild in the offseason, but I also know that they’re not getting anyone better than Roquan Smith in the second round of the draft. Sometimes I hate being a Bears fan. This is one of those times.
Oops, didn't see this post before making one of my own. Feel sorry for you, but it was in Roquan's best interests, especially since Chicago couldn't seem to give him a satisfactory deal.
Agreed though. Chicago needs to get first rounders for their best defensive players, not a 2nd, 4th, and 5th. Quinn and Smith are worth a lot more than that.

Yeah also they didn't even get a 1st for Khalil Mack smh...
the fact that they didn't get a first round pick is just atrocious. I can't believe that they would trade away the future of their defense for a second and a fifth. This is the weirdest rebuild I've ever seen considering that they just traded away the person that I thought they would build around for a second and a fifth. Knowing the bears, there's no way those picks turn into anything as good as Roquan. He's really something special and they squandered that.

But the thing is that the bears would of never, NEVER extended roquan even tho they have the cap room they would of let him go so I’ll take a second. But I do think that roquans value is worth more than a second probably multiple firsts
