NBA Finals Predictors (PROGRESSIVE GUARANTEES!!!)
Re: Predictor 04/28/24
With there being 4 games yesterday, I tried to pick a couple of the series that had not been featured as much in predictor. I will, however, have game 5 of that series posted tomorrow for Wednesday!

KingSolomon13 said:yeah. I have seen some mocks that have him going just a little higher than #32 tho
At one point I would have guessed the Chiefs to take Worthy if he was sitting there at 32. but the closer we get, I think Ladd just fits better for the need of the team. I could even see a world where they trade down slightly and still take Ladd, bu…

Really hoping Brock becomes a Colt. Him and AR15 could be a monster duo. He would also probably be the primary target... Michael Pittman Jr. is good but he's not in that top tier of receivers, so a different kind of target could do some good. Plus it would be fitting for the only two-time Mackey Award winner to go to Indianapolis. Jets is another good option, but they need OL more imo.
Cowboys have a need at both, and I would argue they might want the best true LB in this draft over the 5-6th best tackle. I could see either, but I see more and more movement behind Colson becoming a first rounder, and Dallas makes the most sense to…

This just doesn't seem realistic to me. I don't see why the Chargers would trade their franchise QB for picks that may not pan out.

Yeah I personally went back and forth between the 2 at that spot. Could realistically see either taken there, and I'd be fine with either one too.
rynoman12's 2024 Mock Draft 3.0 - Draft Week
Welcome to Draft Week! My goal was to do 4 this cycle but time got away from me, so this will be my third and final mock. You can check out my previous versions of these HERE.
As I did at the end of my mocks last season, I will be focusing on t…
Re: Thoughts on the new promo?
Everyone is allowed to have an opinion on this promo. We don't have to tell people their opinions are wrong.
Re: Patrick Mahomes Is The Most Overrated Player In The NFL
weplaythose said:Hear me out on this.
Since taking over as the Chiefs starter, Mahomes has had 53 interceptions called back by penalty, the next closest in that span is Josh Allen with 7.
That alone is enough if you ask me. The NFL is constantly propping him up and giving him (and his team) the benefit of the doubt. Anyone else remember when KC played Cincy I think last year, and the Chiefs failed on a 3rd and long, and got 3 redoes due to penalties that quite obviously never happened.
Point is, Mahomes has had the NFL, refs, and media on his side since day 1. I don't doubt that he is a talented player, but he is not one of the GOATs, as it seems most everyone wants to say.
I'm sorry but I need a source on this. Mahomes has thrown 63 picks in his career. We are saying that he's truly thrown 53 more? I have seen no signifcant evidence to support that and the only "evidence" I've seen from it is 1 tweet from an unverifie…

Well it's certainly changed this when I posted this mock draft lol. They seem to be spending like a team who is banking on having a rookie QB. Will they go up and try to get one or see if McCarthy falls to them remains to be seen.

QB283 said:I actually really like this. Twelve definitely seems more reasonable for McCarthy, especially after the Russell Wilson release.
Obviously Caleb Williams is going to be the #1 pick, if for nothing other than the backlash the Bears will get if they don't take him (I think he's going to be a bust or a late bloomer though, his diva attitude and the fact that his big-play skillset may not translate well into the NFL concern me a bit).
The top WR situation is a little confusing for me. Neither Harrison Jr. or Nabers worked out, yet some mocks now have Nabers going above Harrison Jr., yet you project Odunze goes above Nabers and below Harrison. Now if it was up to me, I would draft Nabers above Odunze (LSU receivers do have a pretty good track record), but I do think Odunze's size may tip the scale a bit. Either one could be drafted behind Harrison Jr.
Totally agreed with Quinyon Mitchell. That speed/strength/size combo make him a can't miss prospect to bolster the secondary.
The more I see Brock Bowers to the Colts, the more I want it to happen. Pair one of the most athletic QBs in the NFL with the most athletic TE in the draft and you've got a legendary combo. There were, of course, questions about his frame, but considering Sam LaPorta did so well at around the same height and weight, I think we see a lot of first year success out of him, especially since Bowers is versatile enough to line up anywhere on the field.
Basically where I stand on McCarthy is I think the Broncos will take him, as of right now. First mock I had them jumping Minnesota, but now I think Minnesota may either keep Kirk or go the veteran route, so no need for the trade up. If the Vikings c…

He was already on the edge of being a first round pick for me but I think he solified being a first round pick after his combine.

I don’t know if I hate either of those moves 🤷
I honestly could see JJ falling in the draft. My thought is currently that Minnesota is his floor, depending on what they do in free agency.
I think Denver has to go cheap at QB with the Russell Wilson cut being inevitable. Rookie QB is the chea…
