“VS” Deep Dive GT MOSS ! MUST READ

Ok so im going to do this for the Madden fanatics and MUT.GG stans and I might never win member of the week even tho I click on this page a 100 times a day but it’s all goody we up for round 2 of doing the dirty work let’s go to our ”VS”

So a while back I made a post dissecting the difference between 2 cards, Antonio Cromartie and the new (back then) NTL CB. I went into a super deep dive factoring attributes, tendencies, abilities, price and gameplay and how Cromartie was a superior card and many saw the light and recognized the difference. Well here’s round 2 and it might surprise you even more!

99 UL Richard Sherman vs 99 GT Randy Moss

To start off I run a Man 2 Man scheme and have a 50/50 49ers TT. Richard Sherman plays off the charts for me, he’s tall, long, athletic has ball hawking skills unmatched and has dreds too haha. But seriously this card checks out at 6’3 only 1 inch shorter than Moss, and has 99 speed, 99 acc, 99 Agility, 99 Jmp, 97 PRC, 99 Man, 99 Zone, 99 PRS AND 99 COD….. you might be saying holy shit that card is like a Golden Ticket and you’d be right. now Moss has the same stats as he should he is an actual GT and not a FREE UL (Remember Sherman is Free) but while Sherman has his 99 Agility Moss comes up way short at only 93. And Sherman PRC is 95 Moss 94.

So let’s go to abilities, Sherman gets PA and DRKO for 1 AP, while Moss gets PA, DRKO and Acro for 1 AP so advantage Moss, slightly. But if Moss had gotten a man or zone Ko in his zero bucket and then a choice of Pa or Acro as the other this conversation is over as we all know but unfortunately he doesn’t. 

let’s move onto the kicker, price. Sherman was just bought an Hour ago for 600k! and like I said he is a free card actually by having 125 UL Tokens. Moss will be a major coveted GT being in the 1st batch no increased odds in TVP’s, his name and catalog. My guess is 1.5-2Mil easy. You had UL corners Sherman, Woodson, Bailey and Revis all be a Million or above for a weekend or so when dropping, and being a GT Moss will definitely be 1.5 or above with people who hit glitches this year salivating at the mouth tomorrow morning. But is he worth the Million or Free price difference? No. Hell No. Literally the same height, Attributes giving a slight edge to Sherman and Moss adding only Acrobat? Doesn‘t add up to Million plus price difference. 

My work here is done. Round 3 who will it be?

While I do agree you also have to take into account that Moss should have better BKS,IBL,TKL and HPW. Im assuming he will anyways. With Moss you can run two abilities for 0ap and while they could of been alot better they are still viable abilities. Just like IRL teams will pay alot for a player with a slight edge cause the NFL is loaded with fast,strong,agile athletes and in madden any miniscule edge can make a players price skyrocket. To be honest im very disappointed in these GT's cause for instance that Moss GT doesn't seem as good as Comp pass Porter and his 1ap Universal Coverage or even Boldin or Revis depending on your scheme. Even Deion seems more versatile being able to get PA and midzone KO for 0ap or PA and acrobat for 0ap. I'll never understand why they don't just give GT's a passive or non passive x-factor like they did with BB?

Yeah I hear you man a lot of people are disappointed. The RB’s are jokes one doesn’t even get 99 speed without a TT the AP on Shady is a troll job.  

And yeah I have Deion, Boldin and obviously Sherman I don’t think Moss with his price ticket and lackluster zero AP abilities even makes my team man which is sad Af bcuz he’s a GT and one of my favorite players of all time! Passive XFactors on these woulda be soooo insane these cards would be fun as hell I have Chad Johnson and his Universal Coverage is so ELITE. That card plays sooo well!!

I agree with you but Moss SHOULD have better physical stats. But we have to see. 

But overall these GT are pretty shit sadly. The Remix are 1000% better.

Stafford bcuz he gets the god stack for 2 and Kearse as a user and that’s it

How well does Stafford stack up versus= Rodgers? 

Kearse is FINE but were getting Peppers, Ngata and Hendricks it looks like

Hate to say it… Rodgers is still better just because you don’t have waste a GT Token on him.

Remember we only get 2 tokens atm… is he really better than Rodgers from a roster building perspective. that token could be used on defense with better defenders coming, hopefully, or a WR with SIE/RT & SOE

As of right now, just 2… but even still. I would suggest others to use that token on defense or skill players.

Wait, there's only two GT tokens in total across our entire roster(s)?  I thought we could purchase unlimited using the 92 OVR cards to exchange for more tokens, perhaps i misunderstood?
