For 1/3 of your AP? Not worth it man. Not even close.

'The 2nd level"  is different with every play.  sometimes its vertical sometimes its horizontal.

I also understand that most people won't consider him because he doesn't benefit the "Sit 10 yards back  and wait for the Post/Crosser to get open"  players. 

Or how  for some players 3 AP is too much because they need that "6 AP "god stack" QB "  

However the players who are willing to build around it, its going to be a very fun time.

No it isn't. The ability is rarely going to light up, and if it does, it will be after the HB is far from the block he is throwing. First of all, it is only going to make any difference at all on run plays. And unless you pull your center every play (which is going nowhere anyway), by the time he gets off the Nose or DT, you are either going to be tackled or well past where Kelce is on the field.

Have "fun" using a 3 ap ability on him that you might see a benefit from on 5-10% of your offensive plays

Vanguard only lights up on impact blocks (in space). How often do you think your Center is going to be making a meaningful impact block in open space in Madden? Cmon man. On Heath Miller it will light up all the time. You can run him as a FB or TE and it will be meaningful. For 0 AP.
