Will this be even viable or is it a gimmicky ability to give props to the tush push
Could be decent especially for run heavy schemes. But 3 ap is a lot for any ability at this point in the year. My guess is that it will really depend on if your team has enough discounts elsewhere to make it worth your while.
I'm just curious to see what it entails, cause like Breakluna said, 3ap is alot, so I think it's gotta be something besides just Vanguard as we know it, which is basically what Nasty Streak is. I feel like it's gonna juice the OLine somehow.

nasty streak is just against dbs and lbs, vanguard is against everyone, and on a center, i assume it would mean pancaking the DT across from him every play

taking the UN away from stoppable force
the fact that they might do this might make the TOTY Pretty scary.
Have people had success with Vanguard with inline blocking tight ends? I have not used it this year but in the past it seems much more effective on a FB where they were blocking in space.

I do think it's fair to question how effective it would be on an oline player. After all, I don't think we've ever seen an oline with vanguard befeore. I guess it depends on how often Kelce engages in impact blocks

Just need to get to the 2nd level to be successful

But is worth the extra 1 ap over nasty streak which is very similar for oline? I'd like to see a comparison of the two when more people have Kelce.

My understanding is that Vanguard works against everyone regardless of position size or shape, and Nasty Streak only on LBs and DBs.
To me its worth the extra AP I feel like it'd be OP on screens and a part of me wonders how OP it could be on fake punt /FG plays
I feel like it will be less important on a center than other oline positions but it might be broken for runs straight up the middle

"Just" have to get to the 2nd level? a 3 AP ability on a Center that has to get to the 2nd level for the ability to even be useful? Vanguard is only practical on a lead blocker or someone on the edge. Unless on Kelce it works for all types of situations and not just open field blocks, it's a total waste of 3 AP
