Accidentally opened old gen version

All of my preorder content including my points went in old gen. When I opened the current gen I didn’t have any of my content or progress from playing. 

Is there any way to transfer my old gen content to current gen?

You can try contacting ea but I’m sure they are going to tell you that you are beat. Theres a couple other threads that were warning people to be careful about which one you opened cause preorder content and rookie premieres went to that game and from what I heard there is no way to transfer it. Sorry about your luck msn hopefully you get some good pack luck to make up for it

Dang I did all 32 rookie premiers

That sucks man. I noticed when I pre ordered the game about a week ago on the series X it gave me the option of downloading both the old and new gen versions. I don't know why they did that. I didn't DL old gen version but I can definitely see that alot of players will make the mistake you made cause it lets you DL both and doesn't warn you about anything. I would try to contact EA and see if they can help cause im sure your not the only one this has happened to. If you do lose it all and cant get them on new gen then I would just take it as a lesson learned. MUT is just starting and you will have changed to make up for what you lost and much more. It might set you back but it's just a speed bump and in could months you won't feel the effect. Plus RP players will be a week late than expected. Just take it as lesson to be more patient.

This is nobody but EA's fault, I opened it assuming it would be the same for series x as it has been since series X came out. The LEAST they could do is give us the deluxe rewards for both if they're not gonna transfer from old to new gen.

Where does it say RPs will go there too? I’m in this boat and if all 32 of my RPs go to old gen I’m refunding.

The auction houses are split between consoles this year so there is no way they’re giving you 32 RPS and Hutch on both Xbox one and Xbox x to be able to make coins on both. Come on now it’s EA

I requested a refund. I think this is a message that I shouldn’t be playing MUT this year. Day one and it is already a dumpster fire. It isn’t going to improve.

I did the same thing. I contacted EA support. Hopefully they’ll transfer them

Day 1 is friday. And most of this is the same year after year... they separated the AH now which is different.

They told me they can’t transfer anything.

EA responded to my refund request that a number of players have experienced the issue and they are looking into a fix. 
 

I’m not holding my breath but I definitely won’t be playing the game for now.

Sure but I doubt that just because you started old gen it’s going to auto put all of your players on old gen. EA knows that’d lead to mass refunds in the current situation.
