madden base game, as in REGS would be your current $60 product, you get that and other modes for your  $60 NOW.........

your argument doesnt even begin to make sense. On top of $60-$100 for the game, everyone should pay additional money to enjoy the game? Maybe you have the money to pay $50 for a piece of digital code that in a years time will be irrelevant, but most people don't/understand how bad a use of money that is.

MUT isn't the game? what part of that can't you get? REGS is the game available for $60 who doesn't know that? 

if it's a bad use of money, you have the choice not to do it, I agree it is a bad use of money? if i was that worried about it I just wouldn't do it, they don't owe me anything.

MUT is a part of the game, it is advertised with the rest of the game, it is part of the base game, it is sold as part of the game, is receives updates with the rest of the game. it has been that way since its inception. If you think it shouldn't be part of the game that's fine and it's your opinion and I can't do anything about that. Agree to Disagree.

you get alot out of MUT for free..... that part is what you get, everything is transparent as to what you get, you know what you are getting yourself into when you buy the game.

I have a fully free card 89 overall team right now, that's more than enough that you should be happy with for your $60

Doesn't even begin to make sense is a kind and gentle way to state it.  I can think of a few other phrases that would be apropos, heh.  But i'm not here to bully the special kids who fail to grasp simple logic and reason or are somehow able to remain truly detached from reality. 🤡🤡🤡  How many truly special little snowflakes can we fit into a single MUT.gg forums thread?  Inquiring minds want to know.

Perhaps folks will take notice when the content creators, streamers and other big-spending whales organize in hopes of trying to engage Tiburon (now EA Orlando) in an open-dialogue about how severely the MUT experience has been degraded for ALL... but yeah, everything is cool, this is totally normal and just how the world works, m'right?  Beyond pathetic.

Balanced, competitive gameplay shouldn't be that difficult of a concept to grasp, yet here we are.  We get it, there's plenty of dim, selfish and often borderline-toxic MUT players.  EA manages to somehow bring out the worst in humanity, but it always circles back to pure and simple greed.  You're entitled to your own opinions, even if they're horrendous... but fully expect that there will be push-back to saying such truly ignorant things.

And NEVER listen to Comp players (about in-game tuning or balance adjustments), they have literally tens, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars at stake and want to keep YOU/me (heh, i'm not trying to pretend i'm a competitive MUT player) and everyone else from competing on a level and even playing field.  For this game to truly become fair, balanced & competitive an awful lot needs to change.  Guess we can start by educating the least-informed in the community, but these jokers aren't trying to hear it.  It's incredible how many kids grow up without any type of guiding principles or value system.  Me, me, me.  Weaksauce.

And to combine some threads, the GutFoxx video (linked below) from last night was decent and absolutely relevant to this ongoing (albeit one-sided) conversation.  It got posted in a separate thread, discussing these same/similar problems with MUT.

First off, a round of applause for typing all that out, that's longer than my English paper due this week lol.

Second off, you're spot on. It's pretty easy to say that the community is outraged at the state of the game for the most part, there is only a select few that think it is fine right now. I was watching Zirksee earlier (https://youtu.be/HaT7upN5HdI?si=3quQ6YyF6VbSCYy4)  and he seemed genuinely upset at how EA is treating the fanbase right now, and i think most of us here share that sentiment.  I'm continually shocked at how, as you say, Balanced, Competitive Gameplay is so hard to mess up. I like the idea of the #packstrick that is trending again, but it's gonna have to be significantly longer than a week this time if any good will come of it. Ultimately, EA is doing this because the community let them, if they had gotten called out and significant pushback came earlier we likely wouldn't be dealing with it. Instead the MUT community is too busy fighting eachother over which Theme Team is being neglected and stuff like that.

Heh, i wr0k remotely and have a fair bit of time to troll through these boards learning about the game we all want to love (as well as a full, 104-key keyboard at my disposal)... i'd never muster the effort to Swype type my way through such a magnificent post on a mobile device.  Thanks for reading through all the ranting and raving.  Incredible how many folks lack basic reading comprehension skills -- i'm not even hoping, nor expecting that many/most will possess legitimate critical thinking skills, but come on.  This is getting rather pathetic even for EA simps.

Ahh well, what are we gonna do.  I'm gonna go beat down some chumps in MUT.  Can't wait to get that Mike Evans tomorrow, my squad is really coming together.  Too bad there aren't any sets to build those sweet Josh Allen cards, i need me some 0AP LurkArtist to round out the defense.

I can see both sides it’s hard to pick one. I just wish they had a little more free rewards to at least give casual players a chance.

I fully support your suggestions... sounds an awful lot liek gameplay balance to my uneducated ears.

The ridiculous pay to win argument is so clear, it's painful to think we're even forced to have this debate.  Can you gain a competitive advantage through "investing" dollars into your MUT experience?  Yes or No?  I'm not sure how to break it down any more simply than that.  Anyone refusing to see or claiming to "not understand"  (this is not directed at you, @lfeo5 sir) is almost certainly just being greedy and selfish and chooses to remain willfully ignorant to the massive problems we're all experiencing right now.

Sorry to flog this dead horse.  I'll see myself out now.  =)
