How did EA do your team dirty?

This is meant more in fun that coming at the game.  I know they can do updates still.  I do sometimes get worried that they base their updates on the original card and bump from that, but here's hoping.

How they did my Bills dirty:

-Overall team is an 80.  Bills are a top 5 ranked team almost anywhere you look.  Teams with higher overall ratings - 49ers (fair), Browns (?!?!), Chiefs (fair), Cowboys (?), Eagles (Fair), Jets (?!), Panthers (?!?!?), Ravens (?), Steelers (?!?), Vikings (?!?!).  Teams ranked the same - Bengals (should also be annoyed with their rating), Chargers, Dolphins, Falcons, Giants, Jaguars, Lions, Packers, Patriots, Rams, Seahawks, and Titans.  So basically, only 8 teams are worse than the Bills outright

-WR Deonte Harty - Only 80 speed.  Dude it literally a burner (4.39 40 speed)

-RG O'Cyrus Torrence - Not even in the game?!  Our second round pick and current leader to start at the position

-LE Greg Rousseau - 73 Speed, which is 5 less than Boogie Basham.  Granted, they ran near identical 40s at the combine, but Groot was known to be hurt.  On the field, their speed comparison isn't even close.  Groot is probably our fastest defensive lineman and was drafted as an athletic freak.

That’s ridiculous dude. But par for the course for EA. 
 

I haven’t noticed a ton yet but I am pretty annoyed at the team builders for the dolphins … a backup OT? Seriously?? Couldn’t have given it to any other actual starter on the team??

I did notice a bunch of whacky seeming stats like the speed you mentioned too. Like why isn’t dj turner a bit faster? Also the team builders are a nice mix of players we know, and seemingly random players that are just depth for teams

They dont ever look at 40 time for speed and stats are turned down overall. 

As for players, they only want most teams to have a few stars and the rest will get upgrades later

Seahawks should at least be 81

Yeah I thought for some reason that the preorder Josh Allen would be an 86, but I realize now when it comes to ea that’s way too generous.

Brian Burns is way too slow. Donte Jackson has same card art again and is somehow worse than CJ Henderson. Hayden Hurst has a picture of Frankie Luvu. Bryce Young has a mid release. Panthers run a 3-4 now and the front are in the wrong position. Jaycee Horn's MCV should be higher.

they put some rookie rb for the bucs at 77 and rachaad white at 73 or 74

Steelers have nice starting cards, but Pickens won't be available for ages and this might mean steelers get less down the road, but I hope not

Lot of those teams have Super Bowl wins. Not saying it’s fair but they favor successful franchises

Titans

They continually do Derrick Henry dirty specifically on speed bcs if they got his speed right nobody would play with anyone else. That 84 Kahlil Herbert completely outclasses Henry @ 85. Simmons isn't high enough either. They've got rookie Will Levis rated higher than Tannehill AND Willis. Hopkins at a base 81  & yeah he gets a monster field pass update but still. Chigoziem Okonkwo @ TE had the 2nd highest yards per route run last year only 2nd to Kelce and he gets a 75 overall. I'm going to stop there bcs I get pissed off the more I talk about it. But hey I guess I'm not the only one that feels screwed.

quarterback: sam howell being a 72 is blasphamous

running backs at least make someone a bare minimum elite there

0-lineman- THE BIGGEST WTF IN HISTORY how tf is charles leno a elite and why is norwell a elite like wtf NICK GATES IS ARE CENTER WHY DOES HE A RIGHT GUARD CARD. CHASE ROULLIER IS NOT ON THE TEAM WTF  AND HOW TF IS WYLIE A 75 BUT ORLANDO BROWN IS A 81 MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. 

DEFENSIVE TACKLE: D'ARON PAYNE IS A 78. PRO BOWLER BTW LETTING EVERYONE KNOW THAT.

I’ve got a 50/50 Bills theme team and I think Bills are pretty solid at start.  I don’t think EA hurt us too much.  Only major complaint I have is Diggs 82 speed.  But I also agree it’s ridiculous Boogie Basham is actually a better depth card than Groot.  I’m hoping he’s in AKA soon.

I recognize that I'm probably falling for bait here.

You're complaining about theme team overalls in a HISTORIC format. This in no way reflects what EA thinks of the current Bills outside of the fact that it's damn impressive that they literally are one former player, Edmunds, away from being a natural 80. Teams that have strong histories will naturally have strong theme teams, same with teams that give up on players "fast", as the only requirements to make a theme team (excluding captains and other niche scenarios like the AFC East Team Builders Captain from last year) are to have played at least 1 regular season or post-season snap and to have an 80+ ovr card.
