Ya, I was more so going off what their video content actually offers and having seen them play the game via twitch. None of the are very impressive gameplay wise, which to me is kind of embarrassing considering this is how they make a living. What annoys me the most though, is these guys bitch, whine, cry, and complain about a video game that basically pays for their lifestyle because all they do is make videos about it. The one thing ruining their lives apparently (especially gutfoxx) they offer FREE advertising for. 

Zirksee literally regurgitates, good morning madden? idk why people even bother... I guess if you can't stand TJ but both of them are pretty awful. 

CC i've actually had a personal interaction with through twitter. Last year I commented on how packstrike was kind of a conspiracy from the big spenders that make content videos strictly of pack openings. 

1. they waste their time and money on these packs, and pull nothing, so they have no good content for a video. 

2. Their binders are filled with trash cards that sell for so little.

Boom, packstrike happened and the market went so dry everything skyrocketed in price. These guys sell off their whole binders and had 40M coins in fucking september/october

They make all these videos and tweets complaining, and act like they are champions of the madden community using their "voice" for good, but almost all of them have coin sponsors so they don't have any contact or influence with anyone at EA. The guys doing sponsored streams, and the comp community are the only players outside EA that have any kind of influence and even that I assume is very little.

They don't actually offer anything of value. 

I also realize I'm a jealous hater because I work 50+ hours a week providing for my family when I wish I could make my living off youtube ad revenue and stay at home an work towards the dreams/goals I have and spend my time doing things I actually enjoy. So take my opinions with an entire bag of salt

And yeah, i'm with you.  It's been a real struggle, especially lately.  Not sure what i'm going to do, oh crap that's tomorrow when the new/next Competitive Field Pass season should be starting... or maybe Friday, i guess.  Soon, darnit.  It will be a real struggle for me to sit through 10-15 MUT Champs wins per week again at this point.  I started dabbling a bit with All Madden seasons and that has felt liek a slight improvement.  Not great, but my rankings are rather low and i'm still crawling my way up, i think i'm still working my way through the All Star tier at the moment on All Madden difficulty.  No clue if it'll be better than regular H2H seasons, but i suspect not.  Have kind of slept on All Madden H2H difficulty, but i'm out of ideas otherwise.  At least this way kids can't automatically know what plays i'm calling.

Never managed to pull off five 5-0 runs in MUT Draft, but i've already run out of steam for that game mode.  It has been so jarring to go back and forth between regular squad, with full abilities and random 88s everywhere.  And i'm right there with ya, i FOMO'd pretty hard into the Nicky Bosa WW drop today (he's got a strong name, eh?).  Ultimately came up one card short, wasn't able to acquire a 96 OVR Weekly Wildcard "Veteran" oof, as only two of those exist in the entire game, apparently.  Fuck my life.

Ya, I have a couple friends that will jump on for a game of squads. I won't touch the comp pass unless there is either an eagle or there is season XP to be had. Even then I'll still do 90% of my grinding offline. There's some dispute whether the comp is better in all-pro or all-madden seasons. I've been watching civil a lot more, and he plays all-madden seasons only and he gets a lot of games that end really fast, he has also had a game or two where his opponents have no abilities and are using a 95 OVR QB, and 93 combine cards. So there's a bit of a question if enough people are playing that mode to get good match making. \

I went 4-1 and I'm currently 2-0 in mut draft but that's the most i've touched h2h in months. I started watching fallout on amazon prime, so I picked got fallout 4 free on game pass. Madden being so bad has been kind of a blessing though. 

Remember that knee surgery I had? lol I'm working out 4-6x times a week now (probably because I spend 2-4 hours less on madden a week), started cooking all my meals, lost 30 pounds. Playing flag football again, Like this game might have low key been ruining my life in more than 1 way lol

It's a real skill to understand the meta.  EA themselves continually botch cards, it's hard to say if that is by design, or they simply don't know / don't care.  The comp players  (and/or streamers) tend to get this stuff correct, but very few of them will be consulted once all the GTs are revealed.  Even 20-30 minutes with a knowledgeable player could help coach many of the winners.

I am curious how many NFL players will go out and buy a Golden Ticket to create themselves in-game.  That definitely happened last year, at least once, unless my recollection fails me.

yeah moss or rolb Calvin is what I heard and a corner Calvin and Zirk said there was gonna be a Taysom Hill one (QB) just hope they don't get botched by people who know nothing abt Madden and just get gts

Just cus hella people already quit. The game went to batshit a lil earlier this year then previous years.

Damn, dude mad props... glad to hear that recovery is going so extremely well.  I'm dying for some nicer weather, perhaps as soon as this weekend.  Was just talking about getting outside with the kid to toss the rock first opportunity we get some sunshine, feels liek it's been months (which it has).  I'm so exhausted by the time i finish stupid wr0k most evenings that i'm barely using my new grill, gobbling far too much take-out... then usually suffering through a couple/few hours worth of Madden, or as much as i can stand in a given evening.  Sometimes none, at least lately.

I don't think i'm ready to admit all the ways this game has been impacting (negatively) my life.  So much of what you're saying has seriously resonated with me... well, most everything shy of the knee surgery.  I'm just a dumpy old white guy... which is hardly an excuse.  Need to improve my cardio so i can see if it's still possible to regain any definition in my ripe ole, middle-ages.  And thanks for the info on All Madden versus regular H2H stuffs.  Civil is easily one of the better/best content creators out there.  I firmly believe that his intentions are pure and he's genuinely trying to help me and everyone else get better at the game.  It's a rare and beautiful thing.

Keep up the excellent work, man.  Glad to hear the knee is feeling as great as it seems.  My pops had his hip replaced and i was amazed how well that turned out.  Modern medicine is a real miracle.

Thanks for the extra insight, hadn't really been keeping tabs on who, let alone what is floating around out there.  Unfortunately, there's probably a strong likelihood that 80+% of these end up "botched" in some way or another.  That's kind of a nice way to state it.

Gt's died when they added aka cards to mut. This year they killed 80% of UL's until recently. The times of fearing UL bosses and gt's are days of old. What does a gt matter other than to the person who pulls/creates one when cards are having baked on abilities and xfactors most of game now. 80% of the Gts will be bad choices/ability  buckets like they have been in the past few maddens with the useable ones  being some form of op OOP card. Get your $ ready to spend on "gt" tokens to unlock a second zero ap ability bucket!

At this point you can build an endgame team, only difference that could be made is baked on universal cov or angry runs, everything else is irrelevant. Dline xfactors don’t matter anymore because you can easily get angry runs/5 secure protectors/god stack 99 speed qb.

I'm 30, so i'm not necessarily young but I still feel pretty good (and have been able to keep up and even cook some of the younger guys at football). Probably because of the recent boost in the workout routine. If I had to really point to the things that changed that really helped my energy levels. It's just cutting out anything that has added sugars, anything that's "processed" (has tons of chemical additives to increase shelf life) and artificial sweeteners. I have a crazy sweet tooth, so the last one was really difficult. and I still steal a diet soda/energy drink from my wife from time to time just to get a tiny bit of sugar taste. 

I started by going strict carnivore for 2 weeks, (ground beef, eggs, steaks and salt only) which is really really difficult if you use food as kind of a outlet for stress (extremely guilty). The results were crazy, weight loss, energy surplus, nerve pain went away, inflammation in my joints went down (I had basically been using ibuprofen 2x daily like a vitamin). I couldn't stick to the strict carnivore, but this motivated me to move to a low carb diet and I've continued to lose weight from there. Elimination diets also help with saving money because it just limits the selection and variety of foods. I eat the same stuff every week, and I waste a lot less (the local kroger also puts all the discounted meat stuff out friday morning, so saving a lot there too)

idk what the effects of creatine are if you take it as a daily supplement and aren't active, but I mix it in with an amino acid supplement everyday after the gym and I have great continuous energy for 14-16 hours a day. 

Getting back to the gym is tough, I wasn't an elite athlete but I played high school and a little college, and competed with college level players throughout different flag leagues. It's really important not to compare yourself to anyone in the gym and not comparing yourself to a younger version of you either. One day at a time, make a small goal, smash it and make a bigger goal. Find your motivation, whatever it is and never let it go, think about it everyday.

I hope this helps anyone that reads this. Anyone that's tired, is getting out of shape, is unhappy with themselves for any reason. It's not easy, but it is important.

Everyone knows it will be ridiculous. 100% tokens are needed again. They cost will be 5+ million on cards if TVP doesn't return.

I mean there's multiple factors to this....

1.) being the likelihood of the GT's being bad some part being the community other being the hands of EA. (this year I don't think it's the community fault.) there's no in between to it.

2.) the aura of a golden ticket doesn't hold up anymore......idk if it's me playing this game for so many years or what but they don't wow enough, sure they might get better discounts then most cards but outside of height, release, or traits eventually  every single card is gonna play the same.

is it crazy that I want to make one instead of try to pull one?

Yeah the potential price is the main reason I'm not as excited for GTs this year.  We already see set cards like ULs go for 900K at release. So GTs that are traditionally only in packs will almost certainly go for way more. Hard to get excited about a card that's going to be super expensive no matter how good it is.
