Man Press isn't very reliable, even with high-end DBs.  I promise you can work around it... although i guess i need to face it a few more times before i become dismissive.  At the moment there are three notable players/receivers that will help give you a chance to insta-beat Bottleneck nonsense.

1. CeeDee Lamb
2. Evan Ingram
3. Herman Moore

Don't ask me how or why, but the following abilities will be a direct counter for Man Press, allowing you to win that release at the line of scrimmage, thereby basically cooking your corner.  Will get enough separation to make a completion, even against Universal Coverages.

• Max Security

i was initially hesitant with Mawae, thinking i'd be fine with my juiced up, max Lloyd Cushenberry at Center -- boy was i oh so very wrong.  Built the Kevin Mawae set and dude is an absolute demon, constantly getting to the second level.  Had 4th and inches from inside the 2 yard line last evening and took a chance, rather than settling for 3, handed off to Shaun Alexander and big Kevin got to work, oh boy was he cooking.  For a brief instant i thought he was hung up on his initial defender, but immediately proceeded to pancake that dude (my opponent's USER, placing him squarely on his back), followed by a second pancake for the Safety trying to come down to fill his run fits.

It's incredible when it works so well for us, but an absolute nightmare to play against.  I don't have Kelce at TE or Alge Crumpler, but i'm not above bringing big Trent Williams in to play TE2 if i'm struggling to move the ball and need to fall back on some run plays.

My brief break to end S6 only lasted ~half what yours did/is -- i was honestly expecting the worst when i came back, but legit had fun over the weekend.  Last night was a bit more of a struggle, but i still managed to play multiple complete games.  Although, i think i got demoted to MVP tier All-Madden H2H, because i'm terrible, so perhaps that is why i'm facing less Vanguard(s).  Unsure.

Normally i would try to convince people to be free of this madness and walk away, but if you are still curious or interested, i've been finding some fun.  YMMV, but hopefully your experience isn't miserable.  I had to totally rework my lineup, Aidan Hutchinson is basically a requirement on defense.  Makes things much more tolerable, IMO.

I run an Eagles theme team so I wont be using any of those guys, I'm sure they're good though!
