Please help...cant get honest gameplay in H2H

So this weekend, I finally found a decent coin making set

Was making 83 legends for dirt cheap, then flipping the Surtain CHeroes set, made about 3 milly coin

I bought everyone...Vick, Kuechle, Surtain, Nabers, Larry Allen, Ngata, Myles Garrett, Earl Thomas, CJ2k...have a near god squad...all jets +1 theme team

So I thought H2H would be fun...boy was I wrong

My team plays awful.

McCafferty still breaks every tackle, even when I turn on conservative

Revis Island and Surtain get smoked by 82 overall WRs

Ken Houston will let balls go right over his head

Sexy Dexy and Myles Garrett get NO Pash rush

My offense is really good, I score almost everytime - although my OLine will break down at times

But my defense plays like their 70 overalls and are costing my games I should win

If i make 1 mistake on offense, its like the games over because my defense SUXXX

honestly, keep practising. the more you play, the better you get. every year you have to refind your rhythm due to new metas and new mechanics. i was obviously ass day 1 but i’ve learned what works, what doesn’t by playing

on defence, learn your opponents tendencies. cross man players if they’re running crossing routes, run the odd blitz, play the right defence for the right situation etc. if you sit in one coverage all game your opp will pick you apart

No joke, my opponents mccaffery must have 90 speed, jjust easily outran my 88 speed dbs

I think I'm done till they fix defense

I feel your pain. My squad sucks compared to yours. And I’m also not a good player.
I’ve been trying to do the house rules 40 games win (thank god it doesnt Matter how many times I lose).
I win maybe an average of 1/6. See lots of the same plays on offense from other players. Just have a lot of trouble on defense (not much better on offense.)

its genuinely fun when I get matched with another casual player who isnt great. But that’s rare.

I made about 800k since Friday just buying low and selling high and training points plus a few aka sets to get the 83 bnd. I'm at a bit over 1mil.

If you get snipe AKA 83s for under 100k., do the beast mode set

If you get the non vintage, you break even...but the vintage version sells like 250k more than the other one

Did that set 4 times, got vintage once

90% of the games right now are just people running exploits they aren’t even playing the game they are just abusing the coding.

I used to chase a better team expecting it to drastically fix my h2h experience. You will be much better off spending the time playing more h2h to get reps, find a few schemes that work for you on both sides of the ball and learn how to use the switch stick and make adjustment. I’ll build a set or two snagging a couple cards between games but spend majority of my time playing online. Just make sure you don’t get in the habit of expecting the same thing to work against every type of player or formation. mix it up and take risks

MUT is arcade BS and the games use of DDA will mean ANY game is close if the CPU wants to make it so and if you were honest with yourself you'd know this or have noticed it by now.

Anyone who plays for any length of time should see it - you win games against far superior squads and lose to donuts who picked up the game yesterday. You'll go up by 14 only to see your opponent claw his way back into the game or be down by 14 and suddenly you're a MUT God. Because that's what makes people spend or grind for 'better' cards or, at the very least, STAY ENGAGED. A game where you won every time would be as dull as a game you couldn't do anything right on so games are coded to pick that up and put a finger on the scales.

The answer should be DONT BUY PACKS, or at least buy packs if you can afford it and like the thrill of opening them, but don't expect it to guarantee you'll win. Because it won't. Knowing whatever cheesy shit is currently OP and spamming it relentlessly is what wins games and you need a certain mindset to believe playing that way makes you a 'winner'.

Best way to approach Madden is to know its all nonsense and try to have some fun anyway. But don't spend money you don't have or complain that your supposed God Squad is dogshit. Its in the game man.
