Reason why… ap on defense needs to be about double what it is on offense.
bring the game back to level. They just don’t know how to tune cpu defender without making them psychic

This. On top of this why is lurker needed on a linebacker for it to just Work? It used to not be this way if I remember right. But pick artist is a need on cb 1 and 2 and at least a safety. How are we gonna fit KO’s with all that later on if we want to have AP on dline and lbs? It makes no sense to me, I think offense should be 6 and defense have 12 and maybe just then it’ll be balanced
Yo hollup, I got a new idea for you to try. It’s called edging, hmu if you need tips.

Thats exactly what theyre complaining about. Theyve been watching youtubes about dollar for 5 years and now that, thats gone theyre lost out here lol

I think you're missing his point - the fact that they nerfed the loop blitz or whether that's necessarily good or bad isn't his point...his point is to ask yourself WHY they nerfed it. He's saying they didn't do it to make your or my gameplay experience better, they nerfed it so a 14 year old kid on Xmas day can use his new M24 game hop into MUT with no experience and run RPO's, corner routes, and whatever other nonsense to at minimum keep pace with someone who actually knows what they're doing. This then encourages that same 14 year old to ask mom for the credit card...you get the idea. I think most of us would agree that the loop blitzes, contain blitz cheese, and all that garbage shouldn't be in the game and only hurts it, however EA has made it blatantly obvious they aren't interested in existing user experience, only future ones. They patch it to facilitate furthering their business model, and they have zero shame in doing so from what I gather.

How are yall going to complain cuz you cant play defense and say its because the games easier for casuals. You might just suck at the game. Am i in bizarro world. You guys are begging for more abilities and saying its because the games easier for ppl that suck at the game

They’ll probably complain when 6-1 can’t get its impossible A-gap pressure after the next patch.
In reply to this whole thread: I’ve been playing Madden for over 20 years and used to go to MCS tournaments before the shooting happened. The gameplay is definitely the best we’ve had since the M16 thru M19 days, but you have to understand that it’s such an incredibly low bar because M20/21/22/23 were all some of the worst iterations I’ve played.
I’m not sure where the disconnect comes from in the community, but I imagine it’s All-Pro vs All-Madden. If you’re playing on All-Pro, defense is borderline non-existent. On All-Madden, you can actually get stops if you adjust.

Where did I beg for abilities? I wish there were none at all and it was back to the old days of player attributes being individualized and actually mattering LOL. Not sure what your point was...

The post is about set feet lead being overpowered so now all dbs should have pick artist and inside shades. And theres a strong following on here that think defense needs more ap then offense now. Thats my point

Except nowhere did I ever say that - but you do you man
You guys are completely wrong about the ability to play defense. I have played about 200 H2H season games and only give up 9.8 pts per game. The difference in this mut is you can't load all your players with the cheesy KO abilities like you could in mut 23. When you call the same community defenses as all you bums do, people that you play know how to beat those 2 or 3 defensive calls that you use. Suggestion, have more variety on defense, change up your looks, be able to adjust to your opponent, have multiple ways to do the same thing. This is called football. Stop trying to copy what you see in youtube videos.

Bro nano and loop blitzes are just bad for the game period point-blank. It was a situation where you knew exactly what your opponent was going to call and you couldn't do shit about it. THAT'S bad for the game, THAT'S bad for skill based competition.
I don't know of any situations that are like that on the offensive side of the ball. Not since the tall receiver aggs and PA Shot Seams from last year, that was a bitch to stop. This year I feel like I have the best chance of stopping my opponent if I know what they're running. The most annoying offenses so far are the guys who run mesh concepts all game, but usually I can take my zones off match and still end up with a pick or two.
Edit: also I would fucking DESTROY a 14 y.o. kid with no experience. If you're losing to people who you feel like are that bad it's a user issue. The people that I tend to lose to have really dynamic offenses that keep me guessing all game long.

How many of those are actually full games
Most opponents will quit if they turnover 1 time, giving you 0 pts allowed, but in reality not a full game

First off, I conceded in my post that most of us would agree the loop blitzes and such shouldn't be in the game didn't I? Yep, so not sure why you zoned in on that?
Second, you don't know of any madden situations on offense like that? How bout how the RPO glitches out the adaptive run D AI this year? Or maybe we should talk about quite possibly the worst pursuit angles of all time in madden by defenders? Or what about the juke you can repeatedly spam that turns drags into td's? None of these things have struck you as alarming huh...???
Finally, the 14 year old example was just that...an example. Fact is they've significantly dumbed down this game. It's no longer a football game, it's how you can stop what someone else is doing, which generally has nothing to do with football it has to do with AI manipulation or their favorite Youtuber. Most people who call D don't even know why they're calling it from a football perspective (see most D's are called to stop something specific), they just know it "works."
