2 tokens released this week I believe. No new captains and it seems like the caps are still capped at 93

Not sure what/who/where we discussed this recently, but after a bit of tinkering, i was not able to get x3 49ers team chems out of Frank "The Tank" Gore Team Captain. No clue what or why it never would update properly... i'm able to get x3 team chems on both Jordan Reed & Eric Berry... and Frank definitely played for the 49ers.
Buggy ass shit. Nice having two Team Captains fully upgraded to 93 OVR. Wish they got better abilities, ahh well.

correct. with this week tokens we can have 2 captains at 93.

there was a glitch, if your team captain had at least one token in it (allowing you to select a team chem) what ever chem you put on him, he’d get that x1 and your choice of a x2.
can’t do it now, my reed had x1 washington and x2 arizona, i downgraded him fully and reupgraded him and now he only has x2 arizona.
my kevin mawae has x3 cardinals so I’m never fully downgrading his ass

WHOA, thank you for explaining this. I nearly made a crucial mistake last night, thankfully i never fully downgraded. I've been running around telling folks to "make sure you add your x3 team chems!" OOF. Hate passing on bad advice or misinformation, seriously appreciate you schooling me on the matter. Much obliged, kind sir. You da man.

no worries bro. it happened when they became 92s or 93s and allowed x3 chem. wish i had one token in every player now and put x1 AZ on em all. could of been a play!

I lucked out and was actually using Jordan Love and Eric Berry, thankful to have both of their x3 49ers chems, but was going absolutely bonkers last night trying to figure out how/why I couldn't get Frank the Tank Gore upgraded to x3 team chems. Your knowledge spared me from further suffering and wasted time. It's not a fast process to remove all those TC tokens and re-apply them elsewhere. MUT menus are dreadfully slow.

They usually release two more 1500 xp objectives on Mondays so you can get 2 tokens each week.

It’s x3 now For all teams? Or is it for the teams they played for?

I barely even know how to find them. Besides you can only get them to a 93 currently so yeah

apparently this was a bug/glitch (please see here, thanks @redalpha), so unless you've had the upgraded Team Captains in your roster for a while (no clue how long, sorry), i do not believe this is possible. Originally, i assumed this was only for teams that the player had actually played for, but that's definitely not the case, as i've got Jordan Reed (x3) who DEF played for the Niners, but also Eric Berry (x3) who has only played in Kansas City, unless my memory is failing me. Then there's the true 49ers legend Frank Gore, i went bonkers last night trying to figure out how/why I was not able to get the x3 49ers team chems. Today i learned, thanks to the great community.
Sorry to have mislead or misinformed anyone struggling to figure this out. Buggy ass mess, fo'sho.
