Personally, I just think it's kinda corny unless they've actually played OoP at some point in real life...I mainly play this game for the names. I like to have my favorite guys on the field once they get good cards.
I'm a Steelers fan...we got a Najee Harris Left End card last year. If you're dropping a Najee Harris card, I want him as a Running Back. If I liked Josh Allen, I'd prefer to use him at QB and not MLB.

Antwaan Randle El as QB...he threw a pass in a Superbowl and had QB experience.
The Fridge actually ran the ball.
Receivers have been put in as defensive backs in prevent situations.
While I do not prefer OOP, these situations seem much more reasonable and realistic.

It's not for me. I want the game to be as realistic as possible and the idea of DT's playing RB etc is just nonsense. I guess I could live with it if it tried at least a bit to be realistic - so maybe you could stick an OT at RB and they'd have great Trucking and Strength but poor Speed for example but EA doesn't do that, they just give a player that never had the skills IRL a load of crazy numbers, last years GT Faalele being a good example. What's the point of that card being Daniel Faalele when it's not him at all? And it looks shit most of the time. Too Tall at CB?? Who was the DT they made into a Safety? I hate it as much as I do watching Legends players with their clunky old helmets etc. This year watching that Donald Penn TE lumber around is just off-putting. If I'm Penn, I'd sue!
The whole idea seems stupid to me.

I don’t like them. Too many players need real upgrades, I would love to use a Joe Burrow QB card, but he is still a core elite 85 and can’t get abilities. During the football year, I want to play real football. Post Super Bowl, fine throw them in and let people have fun, but lets actually upgrade real players first

Anything that takes away from realism to me shouldn't be in the game. I don't want a 6'6 corner to play against. Or a qb you can't tackle. Makes strategy useless. It's already bad being that everyone runs the same 5 plays and ur corners can't stop any of them
I absolutely hate OOP. only because EA always makes them juiced af. like the QB Derrick Henry or the FS Julius peppers, those cards were so OP. If EA didn't make them the best cards in the game, I wouldn't have a problem
