I had a crazy game last night, I was up 21-0 at the end of the first half, I'd had 3 crazy picks, including an eric berry pick 6. Then in the second half, this guy comes outta absolutely nowhere, and rattles of 4 TDs in a row to make it 28-29 him with 4 seconds left. He was catching passes that his low elite recievers had no business catching, throwing back across his body, getting near instant block sheds, and making my defense freeze. Ima good player, I'm not gonna win the MCS or anything, but I know enough to be competitive online, win some super bowls, etc. But I'm starting to feel like early year h2h is rigged to be close games, which makes it just flipping a coin at this point.
DDA. It never really went away…
It's a great feeling when youre on the other side of those. Ive felt this pain, though haha
Whatever folks want to call DDA, it's definitely a thing. There are guys that I should beat 35 to 7 but my team drops picks, can't block while the other team is playing the game of their lives. Ends up being a one score game.
Down the road, I think we will find out that Madden is coded for MUT to purposely keep games close. This makes you feel as if you're juuuuuust one card away.

It honestly probably is that way, a little bit of the near miss effect.
I've been playing against the best team in the game in every single h2h game I've played so far, losing more than ever. Everyone is boosted in OVR (which I didn't even know was possible) and LTD's are aplenty on their teams. It becomes worse when they steamroll in seemingly impossible ways like you said. MUT H2H streets blow right now

If that was true why wouldn't this have been discovered yet. Maddens been around a long time and its the same game copy and pasted. EA is not competent enough to code that sort of thing into this game. I'd maybe believe this was in the game if they even had a shred of competency but with all the bugs there's no way it's in there lmao I can't believe this stuff gets parroted over and over.
Also, if it were in the game, then what would be the point of spending any money if it's always gonna be close anyway? This fallback on DDA is just people trying to justify why they couldn't adjust when they other team did.

EA has publicly stated that they don’t have DDA in madden. I win most of my games and never once have I felt like the opponent or myself were ever favored. You’re both playing the same game

Actually they haven't exactly said that. They worded their statements very carefully.
EA DOES have a patent on an equalizing code. It's public knowledge. It's in other game modes. The code has actually been listed by coding experts. EA tiptoes around how they say it is or is not functional within MUT H2h.
But they absolutely have a DDA equivalent code . It's fact. So why wouldn't they use it to make more money by keeping games close to make customers want better cards???

Just one of many articles about EA's DDA code patent . They may use legalese to get around it but I firmly.believe, as EA,s slogan goes, "it's in the game" ..
It happens. Welcome to Madden
Also, up 21-0 should be a win like 95% of the time if you're a half decent player. Just run the clock out..

Man, 3 years off and the conversation doesn’t change. DDA is absolutely in the game…..just not MUT. You can play franchise with a difficulty that adjusts to your skill level. MUT has tons on RNG, but it pisses on the just and unjust alike.
