With HRM you actually can make a lot of adjustments to create an effective route combo.....but without it, no, you can't.

For example, how many people do you see punting on 4th down?? If defense was very good and field position actually mattered, in a game where someone really was trying to play well and play like real football, there would be punting. But no one does because 4th and 17 is so makeable in Madden as opposed to in the real world.

This is all I actually want too!!! Nobody ever punts lol they just throw cheese verts every long play and get it
