What’s the point of playing mut if you don’t play h2h?

Yeah people can do what they want. It really is about the team building aspect for me in many ways, and customizing playbooks/personnel and all kinds of inventive things you can do. I like taking this to h2h myself, but if people just wanna play the CPU, cool. That's on them and it's their time. People want they want and nobody is obligated to play h2h. It is strange and unhealthy that people get a little offended or slighted in some way by what other people do, or think "I like this so you should like this too".

Honestly not sure. I think I just like collecting stuff.

Why do people play MUT if all they can do is run meta? Creativity makes games fun, making your own team has elements of creativity, and playing the AH also takes creativity. Running meta, taking advantage of glitches, using the same players as everyone else, and using those players in the same way isn't creative. 
 

I have no clue why most people play MUT, I don’t think they know why either.

I definitely agree. That would be a great way to take care of both fan bases and I think it would be cool to have another avenue instead of just repetitive solos and challenges. But they know that a lot of the h2h players will spend money because they need newer cards to compete Against some of the god squads you see. If youre an offline player you don’t need all the new and shiny things right away unless you truly want them. i definitely hate that EA is forcing me to play online to have any sort of shot at any decent rewards.  last year you could complete passes offline no problem, never had to touch any online modes unless I wanted to. This year they’re making me to finish the pass and I think that’s what’s most annoying. I do play h2h but only when I want and how I want

Sometimes i do find myself just staring at my team. i have a serious problem with playing h2h because i go on win streaks and i get so anxious about losing the streak that it makes me nervous to play. While that excitement is fun in the moment jumping into a game just to see 3 ltd chem boosted players that released in the last week as the opponent's top 3 players makes me hate the pay to win aspect. I will remain no money spent and never buy the deluxe/special edition so long as ea keeps refusing to include something tangible that you get for this extra money. I also find while running NMS you spend way too much time going for solos, and solo battles, and mut champs to truly enjoy the game as the rewards for field passes are needed to keep your team competitive, but the tasks are extremely time consuming. If h2h rewards paid out more comp points i wouldn't bother with mutchamps.

I'm NMS and I get the feeling the cards that cook me (since it's clearly all offense so far this year unless you're exactly Henry) would probably do the same if I spent money anyways. It's on you how much you wanna play solo battles or challenges, I do it quite sparingly and mainly to get objectives out of the way quickly, when I do the boring "one play TD with play action and otherwise sack them asap" mode I just put on some music and/or a M24 ebook with it and focus more on that since it doesn't take any effort to do all that in solo battles at all.

Oh i'm the same way. I have a lot of undefeated seasons but once the playoffs start, i get nervous af lol. I start to second guess myself and call weird plays and i end up fooling myself most of the time. I agree about the rewards. I wish Seasons had better rewards for winning superbowls and actually playing through an entire season rather than some coins and some shitty packs. I wish there was all different players in certain tiers and that's what you get when you win.

Obviously different tiers would have different rewards but i think that would be a cool idea. Just something different

Man I can relate to this all too well. I've had a few undefeated or one loss seasons just to get beat miserably in the playoffs. I definitely suggest sticking with what works for you as much as possible in the difficulty ramped up playoffs, having a plan B and C ready (develop that stuff during regular seasons and take losses as part of the process). Just me though.

That would be a solid idea or at least more rewards for seasons. I purposefully tank every time i get to the mvp tier because there is not pack reward unless you win superbowl i would rather get the td pack and promotion than lose in playoffs and get demoted after a 5+ game win streak. I miss the veteran program where we got tokens for sets each season to get some guys who are seniors in the league. Like If we got tokens for getting promotions/playoff wins/ and superbowl wins along with the pack rewards then we can add those tokens to sets each season. Season 1 could've been like. 50 tokens gets you 87 Calais Campbell BND, or 90 gets him unbound, and have an offensive vet like an 87 Marcedes Lewis or something. you could also do some lower OVRs for less tokens. This would allow you to lets say get yourself a 87 Campbell BND for yourself then get him again unbound and sell him. in the first season an 87 in the first season like Famous Jameis started at 350k, but it would take some time to get 90 tokens so you wait a couple weeks in and get him to sell and that's around 200k. 

That program also highlighted players that are active in the NFL have had good careers, but may not get much love given they are older in the nfl and won't produce much during the season. I always thought that it was a cool program that gave honor to guys still living out their dream in the NFL.
