What’s the point of playing mut if you don’t play h2h?

I just don't wanna spend like an hour of my life sweating against someone else. I have enough fun doing solo battles and House Rules if I want to play against another human.

Plus, I can't play this game for more than like 2 hours at a time anyways so it works out.

I generally don't play h2h.  I have been playing Madden for decades.   I usually got the game every year and played franchise (back when the game had meaningful advancements in graphics from one year to the next).  Then MUT came along and offered a lot more experiences then what you could get from franchise.  After a while, playing the game became less interesting to me than working the auction house, investing in players, timing the market and building a team based on a limited number players available.  

A few years ago I did play a little h2h.  But each year playing online got more frustrating.  Longer intervals between getting matched up with someone looking to just have fun and not running the same 2 offensive plays over and over or adjusting their defense every single play to sack your QB a second after hiking the ball.

So, yes I only play offline now.  I haven't played a single h2h game this year. It is relaxing and I mostly use the game now to work out and stay in shape.  I'd rather jog and play madden then watch TV, whether it is a solo battle or on the auction house.

Even though it isn't very difficult,  it also isn't very frustrating like h2h. Getting rewards (even though they are almost always worthless) is still better to me then playing franchise where there is virtually no goals to work towards.

Other than the purchase price of the game I don't spend money.  I have had a 99 team every year I have played MUT even though I have the worst pack luck in the history of gaming.    

I do miss when Solo Battles had better rewards and you had to build a better team to play on the higher levels.  But things change, not always for the better, and that is just how it is now.

So that is why I play MUT but don't play h2h.

I play online so it’s not an insult to me. I just don’t understand why someone cares what another person does. These same topics are recycled once a month at the very least. 
 

same people ask the question in COD, why only play the campaign and Not online?

Ive love MUT for team building and just all around fun and I just don’t have it as a player. My hand eye coordination is crap so I have no chance in h2h. I am money spent and have a monster team an 88 ovr and I when I play mutchamps to try and get the rewards and people with 82 teams can school me. I never quit the games though I play them out. I need a near perfect team for some of the challenges tbh. mut and team building helps me unwind when I get home from teaching all day. I would love a no h2h mode with all the rewards available it would be great and when I want a different player I usually list them on the auction block at the low end of what they are going for to try and not harm values for those selling who are competitive players. My existence on mut does not negatively affect anyone I try to ensure it.
