This was for madden 23. I’m sure things have changed a bit. I’m very used to mut beginning from madden 25/14.
ive learned to start later in the season when some the good cards are out. id join after Christmas and cards are more plentiful, and the solos are more inclined with higher overalls so you get better cards. Also my secret weapon has been the mut companion app. Save your coins and buy ltd, whether to flip or use. Ltd retain their value for a time so you can flip cards. I’m spreading this message so we can all cumulatively phuck ea. and I usually skip a madden, not just to save money byt my sanity lol

I’ve noticed that with the companion app, some of the newer listings don’t pop up until a minute or two after I see them on MUT.gg. So I might see a great deal here but by the time it pops up on the app, it’s gone. Does that happen to you? Is there some behind the scenes setting I’m missing?

I’m not sure. But I’ve had luck with both. I think it’s just luck. If you’re not first you’re last
I thought I was the only one, I consistently go up again God Squads when I play online and I know I’m not trash. I have a NMS/TT and I just can’t keep up. I know I don’t play everyday but it‘s already ridiculous. I be having to go play Quick Games online to remind myself I’m still good at this game.
I forgot to add: I like buying a pack from time to time because my son enjoys opening them.
Last couple of purchases:
81+? I got an 81
83+? I got an 83
83 or 87? I got an 83
Come on now!!! At least tease me a little bit, EA!! Give me something good once in a while.

“Maybe next time buddy!”
-EA, probably

900k for Chase Young?
1.7M for JJ?
1.2M for Vernon Davis?
100-300+ transactions/day..
Who has this kind of money this early in the season?! Is there a part of the game where you get to rob a bank that I’ve just missed?
I mean seriously… I do the daily challenges every day and every week. And I’m rolling here with about 200k in coins.
What am I missing?!
Hi, my name is Pat and I'm a MUT addict.
It's fairly common from streamers and many of us old goats / working stiffs to "invest" (I'm using the term loosely) hundreds of dollars, if not significantly more, to fund our early MUT squads.
From there, once you have a bit of a coin stack, it's significantly easier to start working the auction house for profit.
This game isn't really intended for the regular guys, EA caters to the 1% whales that purchase 90+% of pack sales. The pack odds are horrendous, possibly the worst I've ever seen them (which is truly saying something, because they're always BAD). The rewards we can earn from merely playing the game are woefully inadequate. I can't believe I sat through a full 30+ game Solo season for a handful of 78 OVR cards.
I need to quit this shit. Took a break at the end of S1, struggling to remain interested, despite NFL heading into week 1. You're not missing anything.

How many coins do you have roughly including unsold items?

I think I've got 5.5M coins, plus a few decent players on the roster, namely Duke, et al. I guess I'd estimate somewhere in the 7-8M range. Haven't played in a few days, though.
Already sick of trying to work MUT menus.
