Who has this kind of money this early in the season?! Is there a part of the game where you get to rob a bank that I’ve just missed?
I mean seriously… I do the daily challenges every day and every week. And I’m rolling here with about 200k in coins.

Everyone that I play against has a unlimited bankroll too.
Everyone got 4600 points to start from the pre-order. If you added another $25-50, you should be sitting on a near god squad (none of the 1mn+ cards but a strong squad) and have a mill in the bank.
Whales. When you run out 80%+ of the NMS or little money spent (which they have intentionally & with malice) they created a playground for the rich supported by the rich catering to the rich. As far as EA is concerned. Pay up or get out. You don't have a "spend level" worth their time. I take no joy in writing that but that's exactly where we're at. The community unfortunately didn't fight back when they should have. They accepted shit like 70,000 to 90,000 coins for a pack of cards with three cards in it. NAT's turned into BND's. Platinum packs went from 3 80+ coin cards to now include 78-79 coin cards and they're stacked with kickers,punters and FB's to limit our chances of hitting the max payout bcs there's less high level K,P,FB cards relative to other positions in the game. Now they're selling BND bundles in the store for real money. They'd love nothing more than to kill the AH all together. They hate managing it and they hate the fact that they have to give us coins for money. We do unfortunately have a subset of the community that are gambling addicts. That's just a fact. Nobody really wants to talk about it but it is a fact. EA could literally shit on their doorstep and screw their wife and they would still buy packs of cards knowing there's a higher chance EA put a bun in the wife's oven than them hitting a high card worth anything. The whales & the addicts ruin it for everyone else who wants a fair healthy fantasy football game mode. And they don't care. That's my 2¢.
I've only spent the 4600 from the pre-order (I got gifted whatever version gives you that and the 3 days early) and am NMS otherwise. Just under 2 mil and an 81 overall right now.

Idk I'm nms.with a binder value of about 11m.
I made 1m today flipping 12 cards (stingley).
You have to build up so you can flip big cards when there is opportunity. If you're always broke you can't build it up

well said. There is an uncomfortable truth to this game, that ea is exploiting addicts. And hiring psychologists to help develop methods to cultivate more addicts. For instance, the removal of the 500 coin pack, and replacing it with the one time 1 coin pack. The first hit is free, then the next one comes at a steep coin price or real dollars. Then you hop online, only to meet a fellow gamer who is $500-1k deep in micro transactions. And the gap between you players is so wide you Cannot compete. Now you are faced with the commitment to the addiction they want you to have. Do I spend to catch up? Or resort to YouTube scum to frustrate my opponent? either way you help further the addiction agenda by Ea. It’s a vicious cycle of addiction they have turned this game into. It wasn’t always this way. But it will never change because NFL doesn’t care if we have “fun“ playing the game. They see the bottom line and it’s fat.

Damn. I got the same pre-order bundle (Madden 25 & CFB 25) and spent the 4600 on platinum packs, but I am NMS otherwise. I got my team to 83 OVR, but I only have 400,000 in coins from doing all the dailies and challenges and a good amount of Solo Battles & Solo Seasons.
Do you spend a lot of time building sets and flipping the players in the auction house?
Scheme over team. I'm the underdog majority of the time but win more than I lose.

That still won’t get you a God squad maybe a competitive squad, but you can’t afford high-end cars with just that.

working the auction house is a part time job on its own. rather just throw some BNDs out there and see what i can cook up
Thanks for all the responses, everyone. I totally get how you can still build a strong, respectable NMS team. I was just wondering how people can consistently buy 1M+ cards so early in the game. Hundreds of transactions daily on these cards which means thousands and thousands of players have millions and millions of coins.
I guess it truly is pay to play - that if you really want that one expensive card, you have to pony up some real cash for the hopes to get him, and that’s still only if you get lucky in packs.

Everyone is different. I'm in my 50's with a job and a family and I choose to spend some of my money on sports game.content like Madden and MLB. But when I was younger and had no money I would have been NMS or.LMS myself.
There are more "old guys" like me.playing.Madden than you may think. We are just at a different place in our lives that's all
