Will They Ever Improve Matchmaking?

Been playing more H2H than usual and wanted to experiment with different levels so I dumbed down from MVP to Rookie to see how matchmaking was affected.

Honestly, I saw NO difference. This morning on Rookie level I'm getting matched up with 99 overall team after 99 overall team. One guy had his bench full of 99's. On Rookie level??? And these guys weren't incompetent, the usual double drag route crap was everywhere.

IMHO the only thing that changes based on the level you are at is the rewards, the opponents don't change. You would think they would.

It’s all ELO based. I’ve been matched up with guys with 1000+ games played in seasons in my own very first season. That’s why I’ve still only played 6 seasons games. Might as well play WL if you gotta sweat that much for a win. 

Tiers in seasons only matter for rewards since they implemented ELO.

Yeah. I played a game earlier against a player and lost. The loss was my final one of the season and I was demoted. Next game up I played the same guy?! He couldn't possibly be in the same tier as me?
