M23 and M24. The worst years of MUT. In back to back years.
No way is it the worst. Certainly not the best. I remember when powerups were bound to your account for the whole year.

Did you say 7AP for both offense and defense? Sounds bad but from what i remember in 23 some of the deep ko were OP, maybe thats good for the game. I dunno, I'm still waiting until February before i buy the game. My boys are telling me im missing out on the fun of team building but these complaints seem to kill the fun

I agree with your first 2 points but I hated meta abilities running madden. Last year you basically had to have the cards with the discounted meta abilities (ex. Qbs with HRM, PLE/SFL, GS, Fearless for 3 ap and then later on even 2 ap). every db had on defense had some form of KO and pick artist.
defensive is significantly worse, but I prefer this madden over last years. but I think 22 and 21 are better than this year. i can’t speak for earlier muts.

Agreed, which is why I say just get rid of abilities. Don't give a damn about them & won't miss them a bit.

its really not even necessary, like a CB basically can’t intercept a ball unless he has pick artist, but he gets pick artist at 80 catching… Okay why do we have to attach an ability, just make it so CBs with less than 80 catching drop INTs
Been playing a while and I'm not sure if MUT itself is the worst it's ever been I mean it's basically and copy paste of last year which wasn't very good either, so take your pick this year or last year LOL. The BND nonsense, abilities, greed in the store, lack of content to do offline (especially when SB's are down), and comp passes have had me quit earlier and earlier annually. And for the record I do play both online and offline, but it really sucks when you MUST play online to complete objectives for passes on days you aren't feeling it.
On the other hand, I didn't even make it to MF last year yet I'm still in 4 now so I guess it's gotta be a little better than last year?? Idk the bar is just so low haha!
Pretty bad when half of respondents think it’s the worst.
I think it's better gameplay wise - limited abilities and lower OVRs will actually make the game last longer, neither pass or run are overpowered, a variety of play styles are apparent when you play online...
Still, the content is becoming more and more lackluster. Whoever is making choices about players clearly does not really follow football. They also do not keep up with theme team rosters, and addressing needed holes.
Don't get me started about BNDs - that's just pure, unadulterated BS. It' s not a reward if you've locked it somehow. Packs are also a joke - you have to make anything of value through sets, because personally, I have not pulled a single high value item from any random pack this year.
