i actually was that guy back in madden 21. did nothing but play the CPU. i did get into h2h towards the end of it tho. Then 22 i honestly barely played h2h. then in 23 i solely played h2h. and so far in 24 all ive played is h2h and champs. its just a preference thing.
I never understood this either. I’m building my team throughout the year to win super bowls not Solo battles or champs games. Rewards are better in h2h seasons as well. Why even play if you are scared to test your team out online? Learn how to stop the cheese. It’s really not hard imo

When you really think about it, it's true.
This thread is weird. Lots of comments criticizing offline players and suggesting that if you like h2h you are somehow superior. I don't believe that is the case. Plenty of MUT players just like to build a cool team.
If a MUT player is just off in a corner playing with themself why tf do you all even care? Perhaps we should stop criticizing our MUT brethren and instead uplift them in whatever way they choose to engage in the game. Unless they some cheatin ass mfs.

This...110%.
I play online and offline modes. Originally when I switched from mut to franchise it was to play with legend players, but I think one of the most enjoyable things throughout the last few years that offline players still get to experience is just variety. Whether it’s new promos, unique solo challenges, team chemistries, new players weekly. which continues throughout the whole year. Especially being an offline player trying to play cfm that is probably super repetitive.
This is a disingenuous topic. We all know the pluses and minuses of offline and online play by now.
It's either made to troll, or somehow belittle the way someone else decides to play to validate the way they want to play.
Always such a dumb question. Who cares if someone likes to only play offline modes.
Thats like saying, why spend real money and play online if you’re not winning tournaments and real money?

This was kind of my thinking at first, I’ve never once thought about how someone else plays this game and I never will, I don’t care. So it’s hard for me to understand why people would care so much about it. If you see my earlier comment this same thing comes up every 1-2 weeks and just turns into h2h vs offline people Arguing. I agree with the guy above you, at this point we all play the same bugged out game that we try to enjoy. Play it how you want to and stick together. Who Cares if offline gets the same rewards, you’ll never have to worry about seeing them against you, as they will be used in solo battles and challenges. We’re all fans of the the same game and the NFL in general so lets stick together and hopefully madden will change for the better.

I seen people comment about them playing only offline on mut and thought the whole point of mut was to build a super team to compete against other players… that’s is why I asked my question, don’t get mad cause you see my question as an insult when it isn’t.

Why do you automatically assume the point of MUT is to build a super team to compete against other players? Nowhere in the title of the game mode does it suggest the purpose is to compete against other players. It's not MUTCOP.

This is what i'm not getting. It's just a simple question and i don't think you were trying to belittle anybody who plays offline. It's the same as asking why someone runs a certain play or eats a certain food, it's all just normal questions lol. Now if they said they play offline and you called them a loser, that's a different story but you didn't. Idk why we can't just have civilized conversations without someone saying "why do you care?" I doubt anybody truly gives a shit lol it's just a question

Why are you overanalyzing everything the dude is saying? Holy shit man, he asked a question lol

exactly what i think.
the only issue is that EA is forcing offline players to play online game modes to get some kind of good rewards. why are there no separeted fieldpasses for offline and online players?
